I had bought a pack of these because I had previously finished off a box of the powdered version of Crush Grape water enhancer packets (measured in packets for 16.9 oz bottles) which I had gotten on clearance at Big Lots a while back. Those tasted INCREDIBLE. They were so tasty that I wanted to buy more but thought I'd try the liquid as it's more convenient than powder packets. I just assumed the liquid would taste the same but only differ in the format. Not so. These really don't taste much like the powdered product. I don't know how to describe it, but those tasted more like actual grape, and these have a slightly more chemical taste. Still, these are pretty decent and taste as good as any of the other liquid grape flavoring products, and really are nearly indistinguishable in my tasting from the Kool-Aid branded grape that I had used right before these even though that's made by Kraft and these are by Jel Sert. I think after these are used up I'll try to find some of the powder somewhere and see if my memory is accurate or if I'm just imagining those being better. I really don't mean to disparage these. The price is fair and they do taste very good, and if the powder isn't available I won't hesitate to flavor my water with this product (or the almost identical tasting Kool-Aid). And by the way, for those who figure this tastes like the soda, that wasn't entirely obvious to me. Similar, but I think only in that both are grape flavored. Clearly Jel Sert licensed the brand from the company who produces the Crush sodas (7-Up/Dr. Pepper) and the way this works is that a company usually licenses the brand and not the formulas so it was just a way to bring a recognizable brand identity to a product that would otherwise have low recognition. Whether they intentionally tried to make it taste like the soda is not clear. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. I would guess any similarity is coincidental and they just wanted the brand to put on their existing grape product which was likely developed with no intention of actually matching the particular flavor of the grape soda. I could be entirely wrong about this but having worked in companies doing brand licensing deals before, that's how this usually works.

This year has truly been a disaster! But I found a bit of hope in this incredible grape crush flavor adding sugar free gift from goodness! I have tried so many water flavor stuff that were either bizarre combinations and taste; unknown quality; loaded with sugar and rarely have I been able to find a reason for continued use. But I am old; not just old school; but just old! I can remember the days when my family was driving to Disneyland or some other places during the 1970’s and the best part was stopping for gas. The gas was cool; but the vending machines were freezing cold with orange and grape crush. In glass bottles with metal tops and the machines were so stout that you often would have to be okay with potential wounds from the metal holders. Those sweet thirst quenching sugar loaded moments are now available in a different form with the different flavors available to purchase. Grape Strawberry Orange Crush small squeeze bottles with no sugar and a true Crush taste. Just add a couple or ten squirts (actually you don’t need to add more to increase the great flavor) and actually it’s the only way to distort the flavor. If you just add a bunch without a taste test; you can make the water too ‘crushy’. I also started using this in my ‘old man trying to drink healthy shakes’. Especially the strawberry due to the other strawberry protein shakes and yogurt and sometimes low sugar ice cream (strawberry) and banana. I have squeezed a little bit of this flavor of my grape flavor review? Stuff? Anyway I have recently added some of this sugar free crush to my shakes for a truly drinkable concoction! So this grape flavor version is amazing in my tired water taste and I know that many of you will absolutely love this item.

My doctor says I don't drink enough water, which is probably because I don't crave or enjoy water unless I'm really thirsty. But adding this to a big glass of ice water has me drinking and sipping all day. It's sweet and has lots of flavor without an aftertaste. That's rare for something without sugar. You don't need much, so it lasts a long time. I have it on auto delivery. I've tried all of their flavors, and the grape is my favorite.

First of all, this sugar-free liquid is designed to be added to plain water, making it different from Crush soda, which is carbonated. But it's priced as if you're making sugar-free grape soda with it. So why all these 5 star reviews? It's not even a 4 star product.

Tengo mis dudas si son originales, pero tiene buen sabor, no se escurre del empaque. Espero que si sea cero azúcar 😅
