Review: Just click *Add to cart* - I’ve been looking at this headboard for months and finally bought it during Prime Days. I LOVE IT! True to the name, it’s basic and that’s what I like about it. It gives a clean look. It appears to be well made and the fabric is nice. It comes with hardware to connect the legs to the headboard but you’ll need 4 nuts and bolts to attach the legs to the bed frame itself. I don’t remove the last time I had a headboard and it makes the bed look like a proper bed. I’m very happy with it!

**Q: Does it come with the hardware to mount it to a standard metal frame?**
A: No. For mine, I bought 4 sets of bolt, nut and washer from Home depot. Carriage bolt 5/6 x 1-1/2. Code AHA. Nut: ABC, washer: ABB.

**Q: So, if there’s no wall mount kit, can you attach a cleat to the back of the headboard for wall mounting?**
A: I attached the headboard directly to the wall. Looks great!

**Q: Would i be able to add buttons?**
A: I don't think so, unless you glue them. Too much padding.

**Q: what do they mean by the top of the headboard can be 45.5" to 53"? What are the correct dimensions?**
A: The headboard can be installed (put together) at different heights depending how high your mattress sit above the floor.

This headboard is a good value for the price. To our guests, it appears more expensive than it is. It's pretty lightweight though, so it's function is really for appearance only. We needed a hardware set to use with an old bedframe, which we bought separately. All the hardware to assemble the headboard to the posts was included. We also attached some bumpers to the back posts in order to put it all the way against the wall for stability and to prevent damage to our wall.
