Finally! Best Earbuds I've Had In a Decade!
I've had plenty of headphones from the Apple iPod originals which i really liked but went out after a few years, then i tried Bose earbuds which were absolutely horrid in design and sounded like pure garbage, then I tried JVC Gummies which i thought were kind of decent, and i then also purchased Yuin earbuds which are really awesome sounding but a little costly! Then I came across these by accident. Read the reviews here and thought i'd try them. I've tried all sorts of earbuds and despise the earpods too...and with these earbuds I'm severely impressed with the design, sound, quality, and price! I popped these right out of the box, and noticed they have a nice long chord, not cheap feeling either like some other brands feel, and also love the gold connector which makes all the difference in sound quality! Let me just say I'm not a bass guy, but these Sennheiser's have just the perfect amount! These not only sound very rich but also sound very beefy and pure with nice highs and lows, not too trebly either! Just perfect! It puts all my other earbuds to shame! Maaaan...i have to say I really think i fell in love with these right away, are a bit bigger than regular earbuds, but feel comfy with the foam covers that are provided in the box. These are better than all other earbuds I've had over the past decade! These are also available in a variety of colors which make it appealing! Very happy with the nice dark blue color, gold connector, long chord, sound, comfort, bass, treble, highs, lows, quality, everything and cannot believe these are this cheap for the sound!? Cannot stand the earpods that are so popular now, these type of earbuds are hard to find now! Thanks Sennheiser for a quality product that is hard to find nowadays! Big Cheers!

headphones
Look, headphones are not all made equal--not even close. These headphones are by no means great. But, earbuds shouldn't be great. I've had at least a dozen pairs of earbuds in the last decade or so and they've all broken. These include 4 dollar headphones from an airplane along with a nearly 100 dollar pair of earbuds. The thing with earbuds is: they break. Really easily. You toss them in your bag, you twirl them around in boredom, generally you don't really take good care of them. I put my headphones in a little hard cylinder, but they still break after a year or so. Don't buy expensive earbuds. Having said that, these are fine earbuds. 20 dollars is a very reasonable price and I expect to use these for a year or so. The sound quality is good. I have a 200 dollar pair of headphones at home that blow them out of the park; but that's to be expected. I wear them to the gym and I have no complaints in sound. I've docked a star for the comfort: the buds are too bulbous. I think my ear canals are on the larger side, but these are still too girthful to fit comfortably. After an hour or so I'm ready for them to leave my ears in peace. If you have small ear canals these will be exceptionally uncomfortable. This style of earbud is my favorite, for they don't block out outside noises. Really, the only use I've found for the rubbery, in-ear kinds are on busses or airplanes (don't be that guy who wears noise blocking headphones while on a bike). Give these headphones a shot if you need a new pair. Sennheiser is a reputable brand and they make well-priced headphones.

Exceptional sound; too big
I purchased these earphones to replace my failing Apple earbuds, after having Sennheiser recommended to me by a large number of audiophile friends. I specifically chose this pair because of the high rating and good reviews. The audio quality on these earphones is good, though they do emphasize signal noise when idle which gets bothersome at times, especially with an amplifier which turns off when idle (you'll notice the cut in noise more than the noise itself). However, when they are actually playing, the noise is unnoticable. A larger problem in use is the cable noise, which can get bothersome when walking or jogging. The treble and midrange response are poor compared to the bass, so if you listen to primarily guitar-based music (like folk), it's probably not for you; I guess I sorta expected a more balanced sound from such a touted brand. Luckily, this does not harm the sound greatly and can be fixed with a graphic equalizer to tone down the bass, at the cost of some quality. If you have small or even slightly below-average-sized ears, these will be horribly uncomfortable for you. Especially without the pads, which I guarantee you will lose within a week (they're harder to get on than to take off). I find this poor fit also leads to greatly diminished sound isolation, which is a problem for me as I use them primarily for going on walks or working in busy labs. The angle of the jack for this causes my phone to rotate sideways in my pocket, but this may not be an issue for different devices. Over all, I'm impressed with these earphones, but when they inevitably break, I will be looking at other Sennheiser models (perhaps the twist-to-fit ones) for a better fit. I would also recommend Sennheiser for circumaural headphones, as this would solve all of my complaints, besides signal noise (which is more an issue with my amplifier) and the poor midrange and treble.

Really, I'm not that much of an audiophile or music aficionado of sorts, but I was really curious about testing this product when it was at discount here. Doing a little search here and there, I discovered Sennheiser is one of the best headphone brands around, rivalling others many times more expensive like Shure or Audio-technica products. Even so, I said to myself "Well, I don't think ear buds will get any better than the Sony one I have, but let's give it a try even so". Boy, was I in for a surprise. Firstly, the box is quite rigid and well made, with translations to 7 languages of the product description (even in portuguese!). The earphones are simple, but you can feel it is well made, flexible yet sturdy on the inside, the connector with a nice gold plating (even though I doubt it really is gold), 1.2 metres of length and symmetrical cable (a relief for me, since I always think asymmetrical ones are a bit strange). The buds have a nice color to it, with a mirrored side that gives some stylish feel to the earphone, a nice but discrete logo of Sennheiser on the side and the R-L letters on the back. Now, for the sound quality itself, I has honestly astonished. All the musics that I grew bored of listening now have a deeper tone to them, clearer bass, crystal clear vocals, and really, if I turn the volume of my music player to the limit, I can hear the sound of it from several inches away of my ears with barely any distortion (really depending of the music file in this case). Really, I even get goosebumps when hearing the same songs I have for several years with those earphones. It's that good! If you're a casual buyer just looking for another replacement or improvement to your old earphones, look no more, this is the one to you. However, if you're really an enthusiast, you might find this product simpler than others, more professional ones. In that case, be sure to check this brand's as well, because it's like nothing you have experienced before. Even Beats Solo is no match for this baby!!

まともなイヤホンを買ったのは、 MX375/MX475が初めてです。 音楽は、 自宅では、有線ヘッドホン、Blutoothスピーカー 外出時はカーステでしか聴くことはなく、 イヤホンは苦手だと思っていて、使いませんでした。 ヘッドホンは、過去に、AKG、ベイヤー、ゼン、 GRADO、フィリップス、sony、JVC、オーテクなどを 30本ぐらい所有しましたが、 現在は、 メイン、音楽聞き流し:AKG K271MkⅡ 気合を入れて音楽を聴く、ライブ映像や映画鑑賞:AKG K812 曲によっては時々・・・:AKG K712PRO&K612デタッチャブル改 (いずれもリケーブル済み) と、AKG勢に落ち着いており、AKGがハーマンごと サムスンに買われたため、先行きに少し不安を感じています。 曲のジャンルは、主にJ-POP、時々アニソンやメタルです。 先日、入院することがあり、当初は、K271MkⅡに傾向が近い、 K171MkⅡもいちおう所有しているので、 それを持っていこうと思っていたのですが、 入院荷物が思ったよりもかさばり、やむなく、 昔のiPhoneかiPadに付いていて、未開封のまま放置していた EarPodsを取り出し、病院に持っていきました。 EarPods自体は、 価格の割には音質もよいと評判が良いようですが、 普段の環境に比べると、「我慢すればいちおう聴けるレベル」で あったため、この際、少しでも気に入るイヤホンを買おうと思いました。 上記AKG勢を好んで使っておりますように、 ■重低音とか、迫力ある低音などとうたっている機材は基本好みではないです。 また、 ■カナル型の装着感が好きではないので、インナーイヤー型になります。 現在、新品購入可能な、1万円未満のインナーイヤー型をいくつか検討し、 日本メーカーS社,A社,P社,J社などや、人気の中華イヤホンも検討しましたが、 いずれも好みに合わず、最後に検討したゼンのMX375を購入することになりました。 ゼンハイザーは、ヘッドホンで、 HD800/HD700/HD650/HD599/HD598/Momentum などを試聴または短期所有しましたが、 いずれも手元に長く置いておく気にならず、 正直、実際に視聴する前は、MX375は期待薄でした。 MX375は、「普通によい」「素直」「基本ができている」イヤホンだと思います。 音質については好みありますし、おおむね他の方々のレビューどおりと思いますので、 割愛しますが、私は気に入りました。 音場とか定位とかいう概念は、比較した日本、中華メーカーのイヤホンでは、 まったく感じず、ただ、耳元でブンチャカ、ズンドコ鳴らして、音域ごとの味付けだけ ちょっと変えているぐらいにしか思えませんでしたが、 MX375は、オーバーヘッドのヘッドホンと同じような目線で考えることができると思いました。 ただ、解像度は値段なりで、高くないように感じました。 もしかしたら、同価格帯の中華イヤホンとかのほうが優れているかもしれません。 欠点といえば欠点ですが、総合評価でカバーして、日本メーカーのヘッドホン6,000円~9,000円 ぐらいの価値はあると思います。 もしも、手持ちのAKGのヘッドホンのような、艶やかさ・疾走感・透明感などなどの感性に 訴える部分が優れていれば、万円以上の価値があると思いますが、残念ながらそこまでではありません。 ようやく気に入るものが見つかったので、上位機種のMX475は視聴もせず購入しました。 MX475は、MX375と、多少チューニングが違っても、たいして変わりはないのでは、 と勝手に思いこんでいましたが、聴き比べると結構違います。 スペックは(他の方のレビューがメーカーの記載と違いましたので、 以下にメーカーHPからの抜粋を記載します) MX365: 周波数特性:20Hz〜20,000Hz インピーダンス:32Ω 音圧レベル:110dB(1kHz / 1 Vrms) 本体重量:16g MX475: 周波数特性 : 18~20,000Hz インピーダンス : 32Ω 音圧レベル : 118dB 質量 : 約12g 上記しかわからないので、なんとも言えませんが、 実際に聴いてみると、MX365のほうが、MX475より音量が大きく感じ、 手持ちの機材では、アンプまたはプレーヤーの音量を、MX365では1~2段階 下げて同等に感じます。 MX365のほうがボーカル、楽器とも距離が近く、圧を感じます。 MX365のほうが元気感がありますが、音の分離は良くはなく、 MX475は音の分離が綺麗です。 両方とも、低音マシマシで低音の自己主張が強いようなことはありませんから、 私にとっては好ましいです。 手持ちのAKGで例えるなら、強いて言えば、MX365=K271MkⅡ、 MX475=K712PRO です(繰り返しになりますが、AKGヘッドホンにあるような ボーカルの艶やかさなどは感じません)。 私は、楽曲によってMX365/MX475を使い分けできると思って、 両方所有しますが、どちらか一つオススメを選べと言ったら、 一般的には、MX475のほうが美音、リッチに感じて、実売価格差も +600円ぐらいですから、専用ポーチも付いているMX475のほうが オススメかもしれません。 フィット感は、両方ともイヤーパッドを付けて、まあまあ普通と思います。 耳の大きさ、形状、個人差あるので、なんとも言えませんが、 MX365のほうがややきつめ、MX475はハウジングの形状がやや丸いので、 きつくはないが、その分フィット感はやや劣るかもしれません。 以上、個人の好み、主観で書いてきましたが、とりあえず、 このMX365/M475は私にとってイヤホンの暫定ゴールになりました。 これ以上を望むならば、最低でも2~3万円ぐらいの機材に行かざるを えないような気がしており、すでにヘッドホン沼の浅瀬にいる私は、 イヤホン沼までにははまりたくないので、ここらで停まって様子見です^^;;

Have had a pair of Sennheiser earphones for years, couldn’t get the same ones as they have been discontinued. Bought these & wow they are just as good or better, only thing is these don’t have the volume control on them like my old ones. Very happy with my purchase.
