## Description

Coco coir compost with 6-month nutrition. Boosts soil porosity for better root growth and plant vigor. Balanced NPK for lush foliage, strong flowers/fruits.

Review: Good Quality Compost - I have bought this product because I have recently gotten some chilli plants and I needed some good quality compost mix. Alongside this I have also bought some perlite to mix in with this compost. It expanded very well as described and it produced a soft fluffy textured soil. As of now my plants are doing well, the 6 month added fertiliser was a bonus as it saves money and worry.
Review: Prefer this to normal compost! - This made a lot of coir compost, but very hard to split into smaller pieces to make smaller amounts (mixed in a tub which wasn't big enough for whole block). Fluffed up massively to make a lovely fine 'soil' and I quite like the smell. Love that it's got food for a 'complete' solution. Coir holds a startling amount of water, and it holds it well. I mixed this with perlite and another compost so can't say whether it works just as well alone, but it has worked very well in a mix for houseplants, plants recovering/growing well after a traumatic house move.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: My product has been returned to you can you tell me why please**
A: I think it is Amazon you need to contact, I am a customer giving help to other customers who need help with a product?

**Q: Is it ok to use of i have dogs ?**
A: Coco Boost has fertiliser added like other multi-purpose composts. Dogs should not eat this product in the same way they should eat other fertilised composts. However many dog and pet owners use this without any problem.

**Q: what container do you use to soak the compost for a 75L expand?**
A: See my original review! (I use an 80 litre Wilko Black Dustbin with Lid. This keeps it safe and ready to use when required)

**Q: Do you have to soak it all at once? Or can you use a bit at a time?**
A: You can use a bit at a time, but it is hard to cut into small bits, I found that I had to use saw to cut into bits

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Prefer this to normal compost!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great compost, block is a bit too big
*by H***N on 6 September 2023*

This compost has been good for growing in. Chilli peppers, hanging baskets and sweet peas (later planted out) have done particularly well, although beans, courgettes and various other things have all been fine (before being transferred to the allotment). Tomatoes seemed to run out of steam a bit, and the loose nature of the compost meant it didn’t keep a support pole as well secured as I’d like. YMMV. The only real problem for me was the quantity it came in. The block is good for storage, but I thought I’d break it into smaller pieces and make it up in batches. This proved to be much harder work (a dusty several minutes with a saw) than I’d expected. Next time I will buy in smaller blocks.
