This kit is great for everyone who wants to make candles, beginners and experts. Unless your making huge candles, the 2 cup pitcher is the perfect size and the measurement markings are on the inside making it much easier to get just the right amount melted. The long handled spatula is great for stirring and scraping the sides. The regular wicks have little round stickers to hold them in place so they stay put when your pouring and the sick holders make it easy to make candles with multiple wicks. I was really happy to see that the wicks were quite long so I could make lots of different height candles. I haven't tried the wooden wicks yet, that will be my next project! I have used the pitcher and spoon for melt and pour soap as well. This really is a great set for a decent price.

I love this kit! I’ve made candles on my own but the quarantine and always being home... I like a candle burning all the time I’m home, so I can make candles using the existing/old candle containers! So awesome! The regular wicks last a long time and thr wooden wicks are great. The wooden wicks I soak in olive oil and actually I create a x or t shape making them burn better! Highly recommend! I use essential oils demo hobby lobby, TJ Maxx or Crazy Candles here on amazon. Since I’m not in a hurry to burn or create a new candle, I just let the wax melt on a wax burner... works great and I’m not standing over the stove waiting for wax to melt! This metal cup is 550ML & makes about 1-2x 8-10oz candles.

I got this set mostly because I wanted the wooden wicks but also because it came with the metal melting container and other wicks so it was a good deal for its price. However, I seem to be having terrible luck with wooden wicks. I soak them in olive oil for a while, as people recommend, but they still seem to burn out before they can really start melting the wax for candles. I am open to any suggestions! Also because I am a beginner, I have been having problems with sinkholes in my candles, around the wicks. I think I have to cool my wax slightly before I pour it into the candle I am making, although I still have to test this out. Overall it's a good kit with mostly everything you would need for candle making, I just need to figure out how to make the wooden wicks work.

I received these yesterday, and I’m pretty impressed with them. The wicks are a bit smaller than I had anticipated, however, they work perfectly for the project I was going to use them for. The tins for the candles that arrived in the package were a bit dented up and flimsy, but they’re tealight containers - I expected nothing different. Overall fantastic product and I’ll update later on how the wicks burn.

This is a great kit! Super easy to work with. The edge is sharp and I did cut myself pretty bad while cleaning, so be careful! Would reccommend to manufacture to make the edges a little more blunt.

The metal pouring tin is small I thought it would be kinda bigger, but it is a nice thick metal. The wicks are bad, I used these and I have to get new ones bc of how bad these are, the wood ones don’t stay lit and the cotton ones puff up after being lit and the cotton ones give me a headache too, I love the spoon stir it comes in handy. I gave this three stars bc it’s not bad but I would just go with different wicks, and a bigger pouring tin next time. It’s good for beginners or just fun projects

This is my first time making candles and this kid was perfect for me. Had everything I needed and had instructions how to use it. Very happy

The materials came promptly and nothing was missing. The silver pot was sturdy. I will say the words were stamped backwards for the measurement lines but I dont go by those anyway. All in all, a great starter kit and good first impression. Also, few companies followup with a friendly thank you email. This company took extra time to send me a little "thank you for your business,' honestly I really appreciate that.
