I really like The Real Deal Veggie Chips. Not only are they healthy (containing 1 1/2 vegetable servings per ounce) but they taste great, too. The only problem I have with them is that they are hard to find. When something is that good you want to be able to get some whenever you want them.

I say misleading in that they only have starchy vegetables in them - peas and corn meal - so they aren't very heavy on the veggies in so far as a nutritionist would describe them. The snacks are very small - about the size of a nickel - and fragile. They taste very similar to Trader Joe's Inner Peas, which are advertised as a pea snack so there's no doubt as to the ingredients. I'd skip the "real deal" snacks and just head to TJ's for a less expensive and just as tasty snack.

Unless you like the taste of cardboard I would not recommend these. Packing peanuts taste better than these and they are too small to even use with dips.

Flavor is bland but not objectionable. Not too salty, but enough to be satisfying as a snack chip. Flavor reminded me of a puffed corn cereal but not as sweet. Good alternative snack chip.

Not a lot of flavor. Very small "chips". Hard to eat because it's like grabbing at tiny slips of paper the size of bottlecaps... my 2 year old daughter eats them as a last resort because she likes any kind of snack, but she definitely prefers other options. I do feel good about giving them to her because the first ingredient is peas, but we probably won't order again.

This is a delicious snack. Nice and crunchy, doesn't taste salty, and it satisfies my mid-afternoon snack attack. Highly recommend.

Better than potato chips as far as fat goes, but the taste is not as good as potato chips. They're good as a substitute.
