Review: Worth the money and easy to use - This is a great kit! This was my first time doing linocut printmaking and now if my favorite! It was so easy to carve I was surprised on how quick it was. **Q: Is this kit made for use on fabric, or do I need to purchase the fabric specific kit?**
A: This kit includes water-soluble block printing ink, which will not be washfast on fabric.

**Q: Does it work to use the speedball screen printing ink for the block printing?**
A: It works great with the Speedball inks, and also with various acrylic paints. After using my stamps I like to wash them with dish soap and an old toothbrush to keep them from clogging up.

**Q: Is the paint waterproof? For fabric**
A: Great question.  The ink in this kit is our Water-Soluble Block Printing Ink and therefore would not be suitable for printing on fabric.  Speedball does make a line for this purpose, Fabric Block Printing Ink.  We also have kit that contains this ink, Speedball Ultimate Block Printing Kit - Amazon ASIN: B00881IUF0.

**Q: How do you clean blocks and roller with the water based ink provided? Down the drain?**
A: you may clean the block with house hold dish washing liquid and or a mild soap. The inks included in this kit is water based and non toxic so washing down your drain will be fine.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So simple and so much fun!

This was my first experiencing with block printing and this kit is great. I decided to make some wrapping paper for my niece's unicorn themed birthday party and I'm so pleased with how it turned out! I drew the design directly onto the block with pencil and then carved it out (the block is soft but not too soft, sort of like a rubber eraser) and I just rolled the ink directly onto a large glass dinner plate. It helps to watch a quick how-to video on YouTube just to see how you want to cut it ( i.e. do you want to cut out the negative space or leave it?) and also to see how much ink to use/how much to roll it to get the right consistency to roll it onto your finished stamp. I surely recommend this for beginners as I am one and now I can't wait to create more!
