They keep the sun and wind off your head. I wore that all day on a bike and no sunburn or anything.

Are they see through?

The ones I ordered where not. I purchased them to wear under my bike helmet, but also to kayaka in. I wear a pretty short hair cut in the summer so I can get a sunburn... so it adds protection

What the size of these? Do they run small?
