ICECO VL60 Dual Zone Portable Refrigerator with SECOP Compressor, 60 Liters Platinum Compact Refrigerator, DC 12/24V, AC 110-240V, 0℉ to 50℉, Home & Car Use (with Insulated Cover)

I have been using this cooler daily for almost 2 years now in my mini-van. It handles great as a mini-fridge for drinks and overflow, keeps groceries cold from the store, and is perfect for long road trips. I have had one issue that was my fault. On a road trip I had blocked the vent fan on the lower right side of the cooler and it shut down giving me an error code on the screen. I soon figured out it, moved a box out of the vent path and it started right back up. But to me that's a great thing, it means it won't self-destruct when it starts to overheat. It also switches between 120v house power to 12v in the car instantly without missing a beat. Yeah I like that it cools and has plenty of room and dual zones... but overall what I really appreciate is that I feel like it is well thought out, well built, and my wife and I love it and hope for many more years with it!

I received the Iceco quickly and it appeared to be in good condition. After letting it sit for 24 hours, I plugged it in to the wall to let it cool down. Unfortunately, cool never came. I tried AC power, I tried DC power. I tried resetting cool settings. It just didn’t work. I contacted Amazon and they said I could return for a refund. I contacted Iceco and explained the problem. I got a very prompt response asking for a bit of additional information. The next message from them said a new one was on the way. The new one arrived in a few days and works perfectly. Lots of folks on here have questioned Iceco customer service but for me it was above excellent. Stuff sometimes doesn’t work and a great company makes it right. Now for the unit. Lots of reviews here already about it. It is fantastic. I love the 2 zone ability having a freezer and refrigerator in one. So, I plug it into the AC power before a trip to cool it. It is at temperature in less than an hour. I find it important to pre cool the contents before putting in the Iceco. It struggles to chill a bunch of room temperature beverages (which you would expect). I load the Iceco in the truck and plug in via DC cigarette lighter. It works great while on the road. Once i arrive at my destination, I’ll unplug from the truck and plug into Jackery 500. With one side on freezer (smaller side) and the other on refrigerator….I can get at least 48 hours on the Jackery. It is a game changer for me. No more ice. It’s really great. My one knock on this (and it is me not the unit) is that it’s BIG! I really don’t need a refrigerator this big. I chose the size based on normal cooler use, but you can get by with much smaller fridge than cooler. If you’ve been considering one of these. Get one! You will not be disappointed.

I have a great experience with the VL60 fridge, unfortunately after the warranty expired an issue came up with the fridge and it wouldn't cool. I was concerned that I wasn't going to be able to resolve the issue since the 1 year warranty expired but ICECO customer service was great and decided it'd be best to send me a replacement unit. I've heard good things about the durability of this brand so I believe I was unlucky, but the willingness if ICECO to replace it and solve the issue quickly was reassuring. ICECO customer service was great and I recommend this company as a whole.

So far so good. It keeps accurate temps on both sides. Great to have one side as a freezer option. I upgraded from another cheap brand 12v fridg which failed. I've been through 2 cheap ones in 5 years. Decided to go with ICECO which has the better and same compressor as Dometic and ARB but but not as expensive. The company is responsive and easy to work with if you have a problem. It's heavy but in my van that's an advantage because it doesn't need to be tied down unless you are on very rough roads. It's well insulated and comes with an insulated jacket. One improvement would be to have the on-off and temperature controls higher for easier adjustments. It's near my sliding van door though and I can stand on the ground to make adjustments. Looking forward to taking it on the road soon! Few days later. I'm taking one star off for inexperienced tech support. They couldn't tell whether the unit has reverse polarity protection. I don't know if they knew what that is. Important to know if you are using adapters for different kinds of wiring.

I've had my ICECO fridge for about a year. It works great. I had to Google what normal fridge & freezer temps are. After setting those temps on the fridge (40F)/freezer (0F), I found it wasn't necessary to go that low to keep the food cool/frozen. I actually found that the ice in my ice trays were frozen so hard it was difficult to get them out w/o breaking. :-D My ice pack and other food items that I had in the bottom space of the freezer were also frozen hard. Some water from my ice trays would spill down there bc of the angle I had to access the freezer and would freeze the food to the wall. Also, bc the freezer was able to get really cold the items in the fridge froze or had frost on them. Personally, I don't see this as a negative. It just tells me I don't need to have the temps as low, which means less energy use. That is helpful when it comes to using my Jackery 500. I can run the ICECO for two days on it (eco mode). I took a month long trip in March, and towards the end of the trip I noticed that the little button piece at the tip of the 12V "cigarette lighter" plug was coming loose. It eventually came apart. I was able to put it back together and keep it working. However, the little button eventually lost its "spring" ability and therefore wasn't able to connect into my jackery. I reached out to ICECO via email & phone w/o response. The phone # seems to be transferred to someone's cellphone. Eventually, I got a hold of someone via Instagram, and they sent me a new 12V charger. I recently returned from a 6 week trip and had no problems. I purchased the cover as well. Originally, I wasn't going to, but I'm glad I did. It helps protect the fridge/freezer from dents and scuffs and also helps keep the temp. I use this for SUV camping, so I tend to put things on top of it when I'm not cooking. I'd love to see a smaller version of this dual fridge/freezer. I don't want to go without a freezer, but need the separate dual components. However, this is huge and takes up the back 1/2 of my 4runner (seats up, with sides at back of seat and hatch). The fridge space is fine, but I could relinquish freezer space :-) One other thing that'd be nice is instead of having one large fridge basket would be to have two stackable ones. One could be larger than the other. It would help with organization. All in all, I'm glad I have it.

I love it, wouldnt change a thing. I got this for being OTR in a semi truck. Its really big but it works wonderfully.

The customer service phone line only starts a claim and then initiates an email conversation. All dialogue shifts to the email thread with about 48hr response times. At 21 months of age with occasional 3 day weekend use, my unit started operating at a temperature lower than what is shown on the display and the set point with the compressor continuously running. Frozen items and busted coke cans on a trip are no good! Iceco recommends a complicated trouble shooting procedure and then states that parts are out of stock on back order. I can no longer recommend this item due to its short life their customer service department’s poor performance.

Here is the deal. There are companies still out there that really do care and support their products. Iceco is one of those companies. I bought my fridge because my brother had one and was a daily user for over five years with zero problems, it’s still going strong to this day. Mine had an issue and their support team has been super helpful, actually surprising how much they care about their products. Should you buy one? No question. Also, this thing is so quiet and energy efficient, it is a true game changer for any outdoor adventure. Thanks Iceco, and please keep it up.

I bought this fridge/freezer a few years ago for a van conversion I was working on for myself. I am extremely happy with this product and it has been in use every day since then. I wanted a good solid dependable unit and that's exactly what I got. I I mounted it on locking drawer slides in my kitchen cabinets to maximize cooking and counter top space so nothing has to move out of the way to access it. This unit has been as far north, west and east in Canada as possible with no problem and I have never had any spoilage due to it always keeping within a couple of degrees of set temperature no matter how hot the weather, it has functioned very well from minus 30C to plus 44C. I highly recommend this unit and would not hesitate to buy another one in the future should I do another van conversion.

This is a body builder/ camper dream. We use it frequently to pack all my food. The versatility of being able to interchange the sides as my needs change.

La glacière vient avec la housse thermique ne vous faites pas prendre moi j'avais commandé la housse mais le service client est rapide et courtois ils l'ont repris et mon rembourser. Bon achat

Using this since 2023 July summer road trip. Works very well bothside refrigerator and freezer. it was so awesome to have Mr freez and ice cream on the road and outdoor activities on a super hot day. Good enough space for 2people meal prep for a week.
