Lathe chuck
Perfect fit on my Grizzly 7 x 12 lathe

Fits perfect!
Arrived fast. Fit my Harbor Freight 7 x 10 model 33684 perfect. No adapter needed. Used existing studs to mount. This lathe was given to me and came with only outside jaws. Changing jaws is a more time consuming than changing chucks so this is perfect for me as an alternative to purchasing jaws. Looks to be exactly the same as the Chuck that came with the machine. Very happy customer. Came with both sets of jaws and even a Chuck key.

Why the premium price?
I was hoping the Accusize brand chuck would be better quality than the regular chucks often marketed K11-xxx. It was essentially the same with the Accusize label slapped on top. The box even says that. The backing cover is plastic even though the photo on this page clearly show a metal one. Even one of the reviews has a metal version so I'm not sure what to make of it. Needed thorough deburring as you'd expect to operate half decent. Not sure what justifies the higher price of this one compared to other K11 chuck listings.

Lacking on capacity
Not a bad little chuck. Maximum clamping on outside is about 2 1/2 inches. Is true to the .002 runout. For the money it’ll work fine

High quality
Very nice high quality 5" Chuck .I mounted it on my 7x12 Eastwood mini lathe .had to make a back plate adapter .I have been using it extensively for various projects. I'm very happy

3" back plate and 3" chuck don't mate up
Bought plate and 3" chuck together as recommended from amazon page. The plate step is 2.2620" O.D. The back of chuck I.D is 2.1559". They must be a tight fit to have good concentricity.Avoid needless runout. Hey Amazon how about doing some homework before pairing up items to sell together, that will not correctly work when together. Just a thought

Good chuck. 3 bolt triangular bolt pattern for backplate.
Good chuck opens and closes smooth. I had to make a back plate for it cause this chuck comes with a 3-6mmX1.0 triangle bolt pattern.
