**Q: 2020, July - Refrigerate after opening OR does this have enough chemicals for preserative?**
A: Refrigerate after opening according to a person in the reviews.
I'm going to build an emergency food supply and the cheese my wife bought has a 2 year shelf life
so I'll be getting that. As for the jalapeno goes, she's bought that at the store & she's also added a
spice to it when making meals with that ''Hot'' so I hope this helps.

**Q: Hi, what is the shelf life?**
A: There is nothing on the container regarding shelf life, but my last purchase was in January of 2019, and I just used some of this cheese yesterday from one that was opened in May 2020, and it is as good as the first one I opened in January 2019. The "best used by date" on it is February 2020. After opening, I refrigerate it -- not sure it that's required, but I figure it doesn't harm it.

A: Doesn't even taste like cheese. Not fit for human consumption. Organic goo, can't decide if it's gone bad or not. Disgusting.
