This is a quality product we have used for over a year. If stored properly in the winter should last a very long time. The best part is the length I can easily reach my entire 35’ pool.

I have used this numerous times so far and it still works great, with no leaking. I ordered one longer than i needed just to make sure it would be long enough to get to the other corner of the pool. If i did it over again i would order only the length i need. That would make it much easier to use. But even with the extra length i am able to move it all around the pool without the end connectors coming apart or the hose getting leaks. Much better than the hoses i used previously.

I've had many of these over the years, this one is pretty good. Eventually the sun and chlorine will rot them, it's just how things go. But the quality is there, and it should last a while. I expect maybe 5+ years, IDK. We'll see. Sometimes they fail at the spot where the white end is glued to the blue hose. Can't vouch for that, because it's obviously brand new and that takes a while.

I have a big pool that I have got when I bought this old house. The pump and filter of the pool are not adequate to the pool size and it has been sitting neglected for a while. I tried polaris outflow cleaner but it is impossible to connect it to old wall adapters - they crumble under your fingers. Intake cleaners do not really work - the pump is not strong enough to create the sufficient negative pressure once filter gets clogged which is pretty fast. So this little guy is an answer to the high electrical bill and an alternative to the bank-breaking pump/filer replacement. First impression: Pros: - the initial setup is ... none. Unpack, plug, drop in a pool. It starts running. - It's fast and powerful - it does good job on walls and does not get stuck Cons: - The dirt space (between two double-filters) is pretty small. For a big dirty pool it's not enough. - there is no remote as on some models. So I have to clean steps manually. It falls off steps and does not come back on them. With bigger dirt container I'd give it 5 stars. As it is I have to run it several times in a row because it get totally clogged (yes, the pool is big and dirty - maybe in the maintenance mode eventually it will be sufficient). Overall, after 1st week - recommended. Will see the longevity as we go...

This was a MUCH better price when we bought it a year ago. But bargain pricing isn't much of a bargain if it doesn't last. I don't know how much we paid for our last hose, nor do I remember who made it. But it lasted over 30 years of weekly summer vacuuming our inground pool. In fact it still works. We only replaced it because we've been getting air in the line when vacuuming and suspected there must be a problem with the hose, even though running water through it didn't produce any obvious leaks. This hose was purchased mostly for trial an error. We've gotten enough great deals buying on amazon before, for the low price not to be too much of a red flag - items get discontinued, inventory gets liquidated, vendors have price wars, etc. We used it at best a half a dozen times last summer and anther one or two times this summer, before one day we pulled it out of the pool house and noticed 1-2 inch split near the end, when hooking it up to our manual vacuum. The hose still looks to be in great shape otherwise. But it was very clearly not made to last. We definitely will not buy from this brand ever again.

Works well for my application. I cut off one of the ends with a hack saw and bought a pvc 1 1/2" barbed fitting on one side and 1 1/2" male threaded on the other side. It was not easy getting the barbed fitting into the hose, but with some force I was able to get it in and added a hose clamp now it is watertight. The shop vac I use is a harbor freight Bauer 14G. This allowed me to connect the hose to the end of my shop vac with a few additional pvc pieces. I can drain 3/4 of the water in my 75G fish tank in about a minute. It works great and no leaks. One thing to note I did have some blow back out of the top of the shop vac, but I fixed that by adding an additional hose to it to keep the water contained. Saves me hours!

I worked okay for a couple weeks but now all it does is keep collapsing it doesn't work and now it's too late for me to get my money back highly do not recommend
