Ignore the big hole in the picture. That's for an access panel that cant be put on until the product completely cures. However this product WORKS GREAT!!! They have expert advice on YouTube to learn everything you need to know about applying this. If you're going to spend the money. Definitely watch this. Product looks great and DOES make the surface a lot cooler to the touch. Pretty easy to do yourself with a little research. My only hesitancy on giving 5 stars is I don't know how long it will last. But for right now I LOVE IT

I used this to repair an old cool deck that had deteriorated. First patch any defects. although it is thick its basically paint and what's underneath does show though. Do two things when using this: 1. have an extension for your roller handle so you aren't on your knees. 2. Don't even think you can mix it by hand, its VERY thick and you must have a paint stirrer on a drill. I think it turned out very nice, it is cool in the hot sun. You have two choices when you buy it, the coating only, or the coating PLUS cleaner and sealer. The cleaner does work well, but I think pressure washing and a cleaning product would get a good result as well. I bought the 3 part kit first, but plan to use the coating only on the next section.

The finished product looks very nice. But, we just did it. That doesn't mean it will look good next year. The color is even & the texture is nice. It is 80 degrees out & I didn't notice it being hot on my bare feet.. So far, I am very pleased. We did everything they suggested. I looked at almost all of their videos. I think that the people who have complained did not do proper prep. ie; removing all chipping or corroding concrete, or old decking. We went over our old "Kool Deck" with EZ Patch. We repaired all of the cracks & damaged Kool Deck before we started the "Cool" process. As long as it lasts, I will be very happy.

I just finished coating my pool deck using the three step cleaner paint and sealer package and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how simple the entire process was. The instructions were short but sweet and easy to follow. The coverage estimates were spot on. I was getting a little worried that I didn't order enough but by the time the second coat was applied I still had about 2 quarts of product to spare. The paint dries shockingly fast so work fast! Time will tell how well the paint holds up but judging by how hard it was to scrub some accidental spillage off a ceramic tile, this paint is going to last many swim seasons. My only complaint is that the lizards in my back yard all hang out on the pool deck now because, as advertised, the surface of the deck remains much cooler than untreated cement.

Watched the videos on you tube and followed the directions. Looks great. I hope it will last a long time.

This product is phenomenal. My little grandchildren or is couldn’t walk on the hot concrete before and now the concrete doesn’t even get hot enough to notice. Well done!

The mixture does not appear to cover as much area as advertised, especially when you apply two coats which is needed for proper coverage. Also, you need to keep agitating the mixture to keep the insulator material properly mixed.

I consulted a concrete contractor about re-coating my pool deck, and he advised me to do it myself with Cool! I am glad I did. It requires some prep (crack filling, cleaning/etching), but after that, it just rolls on. It has a comfortable non-slip texture and the sealant gives it a slightly glossy finish (though not slippery). It really made my old concrete look new.
