It wasn't anything like what the replacement needed to be (for example, the carpet and on positions are reversed), but once installed and reassembled (oddly, the insides of the handle allowed for this much smaller switch to be firmly placed), my vacuum works great and the switch moves very smoothly! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect fit for a Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fan. *by R***H on August 29, 2024* The wife wanted to reverse the direction of the fan during her yoga time, and the original switch not only would not reverse the fan, it wouldn't return the fan to forward run anymore. I did my research as to switch size and mounting size, screw size, current, voltage, etc., and found this switch was a perfect match. After starting the replacement with the fan motor still in the ceiling, (breaker off), I figured out is was better to dismount the fan and put it on a bench for the replacement. Everything soldered up just fine, and the heat-shrink molded over the terminals just right. (Important when you try to re-assemble the thing.) The only down side? Now I have one fan in the house with a center off position. I keep having to remind my wife to move the switch all the way from one side to the other. Since I got five switches, maybe I'll just replace the rest of the ceiling fan switches and be done with it.
