Love this, but only for summer
This stuff is lovely. It goes on well with fingertips or with a makeup brush, but I prefer to use the brush. It MOSTLY fades to match your skin color but now that I’m losing my tan, it’s slightly off color. I don’t think I’d use it a lot in the winter. One other thing- the zinc is drying, which is LOVELY for oily or acne prone skin like mine. It clears up any breakouts so well that I started using it as a spot treatment concealer when I don’t wear it all over my face. This might be a problem if you have naturally dry skin though. The tin is also fairly small so I got one for the bathroom, one for my purse, and one for my car. Love it!

Impressive Sunscreen!
Finally found the perfect sunscreen for my face! I was raised in South FL, two blocks from the beach. Go there every chance we have. I consider myself a sunscreen expert. Have tried countless ones for my dry sensitive skin, due to long term retinol use on a daily basis. Never have I used a better product then this! Not even from my Dermatologist! It’s super easy to apply. Feels like you have nothing on. Does not irritate my skin at all and leaves a gorgeous sun kissed glow on your face! Moisturizing, as well. Spent a couple hours at the beach when I tried this. Did not burn. Just looked heathy and tan. I’m buying this stuff in bulk, as my daughter and friends are already trying to steal it!

Healthiest on market, color & consistency not for me
Pros: 1)Noncomedogenic (I have combo skin) 2)Scans 100 on Yuka (perfect ingredients, way better than any other barrier sunscreen on market) 3)Dewy (a preference) 4) Doesn't transfer (like you'd expect, more on this at the end) 5)Sustainable packaging, tin round is great can be washed reused or sent in to be melted down, should not end up in landfill. Cons: 1)It's a butter. Too thick/greasy for my liking (maybe I could thin it myself, but I wouldn't want to compromise SPF) 2) Too warm, dark, not exactly my shade on any day with tan, without one. (I'm biracial, no go for fair skin) Overall: Best for skin/body/earth on the market, great price. I'm just picky because there has to be better out there for me personally. Won't buy again. Note: I'm not listing smell as a factor as I've found all mineral sunscreens have a distinct scent, and I choose my health & skin over something so minuscule to its benefits. More if you're interested: For the All Good Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Butter, it is a little hard to get out of the can in a clean efficient way, I use and recommend a Kabuki brush to apply any tinted sunscreen, although because it's a butter you have to push in a bit and it won't be a clean swipe (you'll use up more in the middle than the sides, so you may have to get creative in getting it out as you use more). I've also used a makeup sponge which works best for using the first half of the tin as it gets closer to empty, it was no longer helpful. It's heavy on the skin, barrier sunscreens do work by sitting on top, but this is quite thick and any time you touch it it feels as though you're pushing around the thicc layer on your face, in a way that forces you to be aware of it all day- no different from other makeup. I will say when I give my family hugs and kisses and even when wearing white, again it's something I'm aware of, but it really doesn't transfer. Not much on my glasses nor ever on other people like a fresh application of my beloved La Roche would absolutely transfer. So that's a pro, it's sticky, but it's sticking to your own face. I said I won't buy again because it feels like a chore to wear. I liked my other because it felt like a privilege and I looked forward to wearing it, I loved the look of it so much. For even more on how it stacks to similar products I've tried: For the last few years I've been on a hunt for a mineral sunscreen (hopefully you're aware by now of the difference & that a tinted mineral sunscreen seems to be the only option if you don't want a white cast) ever since my favorite La Roche Posay's tinted mineral revealed itself to contain aluminum salts (we know this gives people cancer). So sad, it was the perfect color had a more liquid consistency for quick and easy application and a light feel and was dewy, I stopped wearing foundation, I loved it so. Now I use the app Yuka to scan everything I put on and in my body to keep endocrine disrupters and carcinogens (cancer and autism) out of it, since America has no problem with us consuming these things. I've also tried ILIA SPF 50 tinted sunscreen to which had an awful smell actually much stronger than anything else I've tried & it's also $50 and I couldn't find a shade that worked for me, although I didn't give it a real shot at a price of $50 for 1oz. Hunt continues...

"Butter" is not a misnomer.
I should have figured, since they literally call it butter, but I was still surprised to find out just how thick and heavy and greasy this is. Also a heavy tint which doesn't go well on me and stains everything it touches. If you want something you can slather on like grease paint to protect you from the sun (and can probably stay on underwater while you snorkel or whatever), you have found it, my dude. For me it's just too much of everything.

Best face sunscreen I've ever used.
I'm a scuba diver and it's really difficult to find a sunscreen that works with my mask and protects my face between dives. I've tried many and this is the best. I was concerned that it was too solid and wouldn't rub into my skin without pulling on it but in warm weather it's perfect! My daughter is an esthetician and really likes the ingredients as well. My face stays moisturized all day and the tint is the perfect color for my skin which is medium/light Caucasian. I recommended it to all the dive masters on my last dive!!

Before you bash this product, please read....
So, I really like this. Mainly because it’s thick, the tint is really nice, it would even work well for medium to dark skin tones, because it’s a tad orange on me. But the coverage is really nice. I’ve read other reviews and it’s unfortunate that this product is bashed, without an understanding of how some mineral formulations work. 1. You HAVE TO APPLY EVERY TWO HOURS, the first application being 15 minutes before you actually enter the sun, otherwise it breaks down before it can properly form a protective film. If you are getting wet or sweating, you have to reapply realistically every HOUR. regardless of what the package says. 2. Your skin has to be dry when you reapply so that it can form a protective film. 3. This product is NOT TRANSFER PROOF. If you are touching your face, wearing a mask, wiping sweat and water away from your face IT WILL COME OFF. Therefore you leave your skin unprotected. 4. If you’re getting burned and you are making sure you’re doing the things mentioned, you are probably not applying enough. Especially if you are noticing patchy burn spots where you missed. The layer has to be a very generous amount and you can’t miss any spots. I love it. Highly recommend as long as you know what you’re doing with a mineral formula.
