Trying to drink less coffee so bought this super cute excellent quality set as motivation. I have missed handled a couple of times and was surprised it took the beating and did not chip or break …so quality is there too. Cleans quick. Love ❤️

My mom was an antique dealer, and as a child I collected teacups and their matching saucers. I had quite a collection, and I loved the variety of patterns and shapes! When I chanced to see this adorable teacup and saucer by Royal Albert in the Polka Rose pattern, I fell in love with its mix of perky French country kitchen mixed with traditional English mini-roses. I bought it for myself for my birthday, just for fun. And I enjoy how this set looks every time I make and drink a cup of tea in it! Such a fun pattern!

The pot holds enough tea for two cups from the very generous cup. Most tea cups are too small for me but this cup is very large. The whole tea for one is darling and I use mine every day. They’re collectible, as this line is discontinued. Grab ‘em while you can!

I've always looked forward to a quiet, pampered oasis in the afternoon when I take my tea and a few special, unhurried, bites. The central piece is a fine teapot with a fine teacup and saucer as a sidekick. Royal Albert has always been one of my favorite porcelain sources, and as time has left its mark on my treasured collection of cups, I decided to purchase two more, to avoid drinking out of chipped or worn out ones. My cups are over 50 years old so I naturally expected a difference, but the quality of the porcelain was a shock. Gone is the airy, light cup and the carefully crafted details. The pieces feel like the mass produced objects they are. The design is invariably excellent and tastefully updated for today. However, the execution leaves a great deal to be desired. The excellent service from the senders went a long way to make up for the loss of product quality, but for me at this time the glory of Teatime has slipped a notch too many.

I love these teacups. These match perfectly with the rest of my Royal Albert Polka Rose set that I registered for from our wedding. The light blue is reminiscent of Tiffany Blue, and the white polka dots have a Kate Spade feel .The gold edging is perfect. I ordered 2 tea cups, and they happened to be on sale for under 20 each, which is a huge discount from Macy's where we registered. They came in the sturdy original packaging and arrived safe. Really beautiful, precious cups that are dainty looking yet seem sturdy.

I bought this teacup and saucer to use at out Women's Ministry Tea that we have each year on Good Friday. The ladies bring so many beautiful cups that it made me want a new one. I also wanted a cup that would not crack when I poured the boiling water into it, since I have read reviews about some different brands that cracked the first time it was used. As soon as I got it, I boiled some water and rinsed it with a couple of teaspoonsful of hot water (held my breath) and then added water to the top. It worked great!!! I am very pleased with the quality of this set. I definitely would but it again.

100% perfect. beautiful great saucer it is large enough to hold biscuits (or cookies for us americans) and catch spill. Perfect for a relaxing cup of tea at me time. Loved it so much got one for my daughter. I should also mention that the saucer was broken with my first purchase. The packaging looked like someone had been using it for volleyball. Maybe the carrier was being chased by a little puppy or something? They made it so easy when I told the supplier it was broken they just mailed out a new one and said keep the broken one so I didn't have to pay shipping. Really good customer service!

J'aime avoir des services à thé (j'en ai 14) raffiné et originaux, anglais de préférence. Grâce à Amazone, j'ai pu remplacer une tasse cassée, assortie à ma théière Royal Albert.
