Air Fryer by Cozyna (3.7QT) with airfryer cookbooks (over 50 recipes)

If you are going to read this, focus on the customer service of a company that stood behind its product, even though the customer (me) is at fault. The Fryer: So we bought this after looking at the more expensive fryers offered by Philips . The result? We Love it! It makes nice crispy fries and other "snack" foods, perfectly. (Hint Shaking the basket is a good thing, as well as warming it up for 1-2 mins) It cleans easily, and the kitchen does not smell of oil. We find that an average fries bag from the supermarket can make 2 1/2 batches. I like the compact design, it has 2 nice "handles" at the back which I use to push it in and out of the counter. Solid timer, not complicated control, a nice satisfying ding to tell you it's done. Cleanup is very easy. THE COMPANY: (look at this , you guys!) In short, they a) communicated in a personal way when we bought the product and b) they sent me a replacement basket for a basket that we destroyed - totally our fault- . (see below) I believe companies like that should get rewarded with our business. They certainly are being rewarded with my loyalty - for life. We are here to help!" --------- Reply after a few weeks by me, after we had a mishap (totally our fault) Hi. Actually I have good news and bad news. The good news? We LOVE the fryer. We get crispy fries and no fryer smell. The bad news? We need a replacement part. My wife accidentally set down the basket on the stove , while it was hot (the stove) , and it melted the plastic part of the basket , including the piece that activates the heater. So, can you help me? Can I guy the plastic part? I know it fastens with 3 screws . Or can I buy the replacement basket overall? New Review: After two months of use, I have up the rating on this product from 4 stars to 5. Turns out we use it a lot. My teenage son insists on using it for heating his frozen corndogs because the results are superior and the cleanup (not that he does that) is easier. I use it for toasting almonds; the quality is perfect and the toasting is WAY easier. Part way through toasting, I pull out the handle, shake the nuts in the container, and put it back in for an even browning. You can't do that with a toaster oven. I guess this Cozyna has earned its place in our kitchen. Earlier Review **Really great customer service & sturdy build, but not exactly what I needed** Cozyna customer service contacted me from the very start, asking if I received the product and inquiring how I liked it. The company seems very eager to make a good name for itself. On this, service is A+. The product itself is sturdy and well made -- one might even call it attractive. However. . . It wasn't exactly what I needed, but I think it's always good to give new products a try. To be honest, the Cozyna Low Fat Healthy Air Fryer doesn't do significantly more than an ordinary toaster oven would. I think the bottom side of food crisps up better than in a toaster oven, but that's hardly enough reason to take up more counter space. The food itself dries out faster than if it was cooked in a traditional oven. One has to eat it right away to get the added benefit of air fryer cooking. Size-wise, it's bigger than I pictured, but not bigger than I hoped for. The circular cooking area measures 8" in diameter. For someone in a small apartment who cooks food that fits in this cooking area, it might be a good purchase: clean-up is easier than a toaster oven. Otherwise, if you already have a toaster oven, just spray your food with cooking oil and you'll get nearly the same results.

This is a great appliance and like many other customers it exceeded my expectations. I didn't do much deep frying before I bought it , so the nutritional benefit was a bit wasted on me. But I can see how a person who can't give up deep fried foods could purchase one of these and still be able to fit in their pants. Plus you don't have to deal with all that messy oil and clean up.. It does the best job on frozen pre prepared foods you get out of the frozen section at your grocery store like french fries, tater tots, egg rolls and corn dogs. It also works well on home made fried potatoes and other fresh vegetables. However, I can't say that it is exponentially better than just roasting these things in the oven considering the counter space it takes up. It is faster than an oven; easier to clean and you don't have to waste any aluminum foil.

I waited to review, but we love this thing. I'll just say this. I'm on a keto diet and this is awesome for wings!. Drop the frozen wings in (no oil needed), set the temp and time, then chill until the "ding" of the timer goes off. You can get unbreaded wings crispy! Super easy. Cleanup is a freaking breeze. I wish this was available when I was young. I'm going to try more stuff in there, but just the ease of this thing sells itself. I've used it maybe 10 times without a problem in the two months since I've had it. Look up air fryer recipes online. There's so much you can do with this. It blows a lot of hot air out the back during operation, but I don't think that comes as a surprise to anyone. I was super worried about air fryers that catch on fire (do a search), but this unit doesn't get that hot on the exterior. I think as long as it is kept clean, problems like that are unlikely. Seems to me people like to put a bunch of oil in an air fryer (illogical), then blame the manufacturer when it catches the oil on fire.

This is a great Airfryer. It does sweet potato fries, tofu & a myriad of other foods. The shipping however was nearly the price of the unit. My fault for not paying attention
