Easy Off Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner, Destroys Tough Burnt on Food and Grease, Fresh Scent, 14.5 oz Can

Bought this to tackle an awful looking oven door on a built in Jenn Air double oven. And when I say awful I mean awful, embarrassingly so. The top one gets most of the use and the door had so much burned on grease splatter that nothing would work. I tried letting Simple Green soak on the door for hours and it did nothing. Next I tried the hot water to the door then add baking soda then vinegar, then scrub with alum foil hack, that worked somewhat but not really even close to cleaning it. And in the process of doing this hack, the door became so saturated with liquid it ran off the door and down into the inner glass of both ovens leaving white drip streaks. This required me to remove both doors and take them both apart -- very annoying. I will say this about the baking soda/vinegar method -- if you have light to moderate build up inside and on the glass it may work -- its just very messy process. So after running out of non toxic ideas I turned to this product -- not to say this product is "toxic" but the other methods are. I was planning on using this outside (as I had to remove the oven door and disassemble to remove the inside streaks) so I was not worried about fumes and smell. I will note that you can smell the lemon scent and a bit of fumes, however, the spray out of the bottle is very light. By this I mean the pressure in the can is no where near a rattle can spray paint so there is not a lot of fumes thrown up in the air creating a big plume of overspray. Now if you have your head in the oven and are spraying it at the same time, this would not be ideal. Maybe open a few doors in the house to get a cross breeze to air it out while it sits. The product goes on in a light foam and dispenses quite evenly and easily. I left it on my door for about 3 hours. In my opinion you must let this product sit, it is not a magic liquid where the removal is immediate. After the three or so hours you can see it start to "melt" the hardened grease away. I cleaned up the door with paper towels and a wet sponge. This first application took the door to about 75% clean. I did another coat and left it for about two hours. Removed the product. This left the door at about 95%. Then I used a razor blade scraper to remove the stubborn specks that were left. they all came up well. After I used some water to get up the residue the best I could then some natural glass cleaner. Looks so good, can finally see inside with the light on. I plan to take the oven up to 500 to "burn off" any remaining residue just to be safe. I, like many others, don't typically like the idea of introducing chemicals near things that I consume, however with the condition of the oven door, I had no choice. With a little caution and common sense this product can be used safely and effectively. Would recommend and for the price, a great value.

This stuff really cuts through baked-on grease and grime. It makes cleaning the oven much easier and saves a lot of scrubbing compared to regular cleaners. The smell is pretty strong, so good ventilation is a must, but it definitely gets the job done.

I’ve been really impressed with this Easy-Off cleaner for tough kitchen messes. I mainly used it on my Dutch oven, which had stubborn, baked-on stains that I couldn’t get out with regular scrubbing, and it worked much better than expected. After applying it and letting it sit, the grime lifted a lot easier and I didn’t have to scrub nearly as hard. It cut through grease and dark, burnt-on residue that had been sitting for a while, and my Dutch oven came out looking noticeably cleaner and more restored. The spray is strong, so I made sure to use it in a well-ventilated area, but it definitely does what it claims to do. This spray helped me revive my oven. I hadn't realized howww much buildup there was internally until I used this to clean it up. It really helped soften the grease/etc and allow for an easy wipe. I also used the cooktop scraper tool (on the inside glass door) and those two combined got everything off!!! The only warning about the spray is that I'm sure it's probably very toxic. The smell is very very strong. When I would spray it, I opened the windows and had the air purifier on to ensure it wasn't just circulating. After I cleaned the oven, I left the door open for a while until I was confident that I had wiped all of the remaining spray off of the walls and that I couldn't smell it anymore. Then I ran the oven on 400 for 20 min just to be safe before cooking food.

Holly Cow!!! I was looking for something that could clean our toaster oven because well ..... it gets used a lot and it was very nasty inside. This stuff is amazing. I sprayed it once, waited for 5 mins, and then wiped it off. No scrubbing on my side. Very easy to use. My mouth dropped when I saw the results. Now, it didn't clean everything the first time but after three spray downs and wipes it was tons better than before. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to clean their oven. I think the only thing a noticed was the inside metal was duller than originally but the chemicals of this stuff does eat the grease, so it is going to do something to the inside of toaster ovens. However, it does say on the back to use in ovens (I just took it upon myself to try the toaster oven). The good thing is it didn't do anything to the glass doors except clean them in the first round. I will be trying it on the real oven so enough though. Amazing product!! It does say to use gloves and I highly recommend it because I could feel every cut I had on my fingers. And it does say to you a mask and I highly recommend that too because the fumes are very strong.

Let me start off by saying my oven looked like it hasn't been cleaned since it was bought (it really hasn't haha) I've tried cleaning it and I give up after a few minutes because NONE of the hundred of ways I've tried even phased this grease box of mine. I seen some reviews on this and was pretty skeptical..I mean.. What makes this yellow can better than the yellow can at my local dollar general or Walmart. But whatever, for the price it couldnt hurt to try right? I waited a full week after getting it before I touched it. All I could think is what's the point? It isn't going to work and I'm just gonna get angry all over again. Last night before I went to bed I said screw it, let's give it a go. Took the racks out and Sprayed every single inch of that beast, and the door. When I woke up today the first thing I did was slightly crack the oven door just KNOWING I was gonna be mad and disappointed... The way my jaw dropped... Every single drop of grease had liquefied and was laying at the bottom of the oven in a black puddle of eww don't make me touch that. Grabbed my paper towels and started wiping it all out. It took a whole roll... But for the first time since I bought this stove many many years ago it looks brand new. It was a strange feeling of accomplishment, I say strange because I did nothing but wipe it down. No scrubbing, no anger, no stress. It was as simple as cleaning spilled water from a countertop. I'll forever be dedicated to THIS oven cleaner. The only one I'll ever recommend to anyone. So if you finished this entire novel I just wrote BUY IT! I PROMISE, PROMISE, PROMISE... you will NOT be disappointed. Your arms and blood pressure will thank you too! :)

This works, a good deal & as I said it works, wife spilled something & we did not notice so next time the oven was used it was bad. Went to clean & my last can was almost empty. I searched for this and it was beet price here on Amazon, sprayed let sit. Next day cleaned & wiped down and it came out great. Needed 1 respray and cleaning & we were good to go. You should always run oven empty after cleaning for half an hour, BUT DO NUT RUN BEFORE YIU CLEAN & ALWAYS LET AIR OUT BECAUSE OF POSSIBLE EXPLOSION.

I LOVE this stuff for cleaning my stainless steel oven trays and pots, they bring them up like brand new which gives so much satisfaction everytime I see how shiny they are sitting in my oven! The only thing I would recommend when using is to make sure the area is well ventilated or you will end up choking yourself (as I have done a couple of times, my own fault of course!). I feel a tin lasts me a fairly long time so is good value, I've had no leaks from the can and it is easy to spray the foam substance over a large or small area as the nozzle is small. It is very easy to wash off but it definately softens any grease making it much easier to clean off. I have found this to be better than any of the other brands I have tried and that is a lot! This is really good stuff so from a safety perspective I would be careful not to spray it on anything that could potentially be ruined. I will try to put up a before and after of my oven trays next time I clean them for comparision and show just how good a job this does!
