Can anybody tells me what should I do or from where i can download the driver?** A: I have yet to have 4 different products similar (hard drive and DVD drive) to this type of devices fail to automatically install on Win10 and just start working and the attached Hard Drive will show up in File Explorer. so no need for an additional driver -- if it's recognized, then your drive is already installed. The only exception I can think of is if your drive hasn't been formatted yet. So you have to go to the Disk Manager where it will show up so you can format it. It works great on an older SATA drive that it works just fine on, powers and connects easily and allows for file transfer to my newer computer. The other drive I was hoping it would be able to power long enough for me to transfer files from seems, unfortunately, to just be dead. While all the connections fit (it is a parallel connection), the drive would not power.The kit comes with a power adapter, and different power cables to attach to your drive, depending on the connection. Then there is a piece that attaches the drive to your computer (via USB) which allows for a variety of different attachments. As long as your drive can be powered, this is a good, inexpensive option to transfer files from an old internal or non-USB external drive. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Takes Patience *by on Reviewed in the United States May 2, 2019* Like most people, I too was frustrated with this device when trying to read an old IDE drive. I set the drive jumpers to "Master", plugged it in to power (heard the drive spin up), then connected the USB device. Nothing.I kept trying different things (e.g., changing the order I did things, drive jumper settings, etc.) all with no success. At one point, the drive heads kept slamming inside the HDD, and I powered it down.Then I resorted to the internet and found nothing useful. Feeling like I wasted my money, I went back and read a review from a previous purchaser. He stated that he had problems too at first until he rebooted his computer. So I restarted mine. At first there was nothing. Then I plugged the USB adapter back into my computer and I heard a "ding". I searched my computer for the new drive and nothing appeared. I unplugged the device and I heard the ding again, and I saw an icon in my tray disappear. Knowing it was seeing the drive I plugged it back in and heard the ding again. Using my old skills, I typed the "diskmgmt.msc" into the search bar. The drive was listed, but this drive had been wiped, so it had no data. Using the program, I was able to format the drive and put it into service.Even though the device is cheaply made, and has poor instructions, it is a functional unit for my intended use. It takes a user a little patience and not giving up too quickly in order to get it to work.
