MG Timber Heavy Duty Premium, A-frame Picnic table, Bench. Made From Pressure Treated Swedish Redwood (SQ CORNERS, 6FT)

I ordered the 4ft version of the A Frame Picnic table, which was excellent in design and size for what I needed, which was a sturdy table and seats for four adults or a family of four. I looked at several makers and suppliers as I had never ordered one of these before. I wanted it to go on a grass area, lawn or hard standing area. I also wanted the assembled table not to have rough edges or protruding bolts, screws that were substandard and wood that was too thin. MG Timber were my choice and I was not disappointed. I was persuaded by the fact that it is made in the UK and by people who know what they are doing. This is a sturdy piece of garden furniture, well made and the 4ft one can be assembled even by one person -though two are safer and better. I watched the video that MG Timber advertise of their site. This not only helped but was vital for a correct assembly. There are only about 20 screws to use , plus 2 TX (star) bits -one for the larger and one for the smaller screws. You need a good quality drill to drive them in and it is worth taking your time. The 2 leg wood pieces are pre-assembled and so apart from them there is only the top, 2 seats and 2 braces. The instructions are packed safely within the wood parts. The finished table is solid, well made, attractive, safe to use and ideal for many occasions.

This is a substantial picnic table,delivered on time. Constructing the table was easy using 16 screws provided and following the on-line instructions, but it must be stressed that manoeuvring the table is a two person job. Confident that the table will last many years and well worth the investment in its purchase

This is the second heavy duty picnic table l have bought from M G Timber. The first one l bought 3 years ago (6ft long) and l have treated it twice with Ronseal garden furniture protector clear natural. It is still in excellent condition and is left outside in all weather's and not covered. I needed a second picnic bench,and bought the same one but 7ft long. Very nice bench and took about 10 minutes to assemble on my own. I can honestly say, to spend that bit of extra money on a quality bench can save you spending more in a couple of years on another cheap one. Heavy duty. Top quality. Cost effective. Happy customer.🙂

We bought this for the garden in a rental property near the beach. It was super easy to put together, solidly built, looks great, feels extremely durable and the delivery was excellent. We are really happy with this purchase!

Really robust and high quality wood. Sanded to a nice finish. Easy to assemble (if you have a drill). If you do not have a drill get a screw driver with a tip that can be swapped out like a drill. They provide high quality screws and the tips to add to the drill/screwdriver for a perfect fit. You will need to order some form of paint/oil to treat it once built. I have not done this yet in the picture.

Absolutely delighted with this table. Very heavy, sturdy construction. Easy to put together as the drill bits were provided with the fixings ( yes, you will need a drill)! Looks perfect in our woodland picnic area of the garden. Should give years of service. Thank you - very satisfied customers 😊
