I’m very impressed with this book stand. The design and craftsmanship are excellent, and it feels sturdy and well made. I primarily use it to hold my Bible at an angle, which makes it much easier and more comfortable to read than having it lie flat on a table. A simple, practical product that does exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended!

I've purchased many different book stands over the years looking for something that can actually hold up to regular office use. After many duds, I found this one. I have recently purchased a second one so I have one at the office and one at my home office. I do a lot of research and writing, typically using books that are about 300 pages in length with the occasional book in excess of 500 pages. All previous book stands couldn't support the bigger books. I have no problem with this one. I use it to hold books I am reading so that I don't have to spend hours bending over books on the desk. It has held everything I've put on it without any evidence of strain or weakening. One of the things I like most about this stand is the ability to adjust it's viewing angle. It can be adjusted to six different angles so depending on the light, I can always adjust it to a comfortable reading level. The arms for holding pages are long enough to work with even the thickest of books and I've never had issues with them bending out of shape or failing to flex far enough to comfortably hold the pages. I also use this stand as a document holder when I'm typing drafts of my work. It doesn't have an clip at the top to hold single sheets of paper like a traditional document holder but I usually improvise by clipping any loose pages to a legal pad and standing the legal pad on the stand. I've been very pleased with the quality and performance of this book stand and highly recommend it.

Over the years, I have had more than a dozen bookstands and this large one is the best so far. I received Barbra Streisand’s 1000 page tome for Christmas and this stand will hold it. The problem is the “arms“ holding the book securely in place are too strong! The pages may be mildly damaged (indented) from the pressure. I putt a cloth under the pressure points to save the book. Even the large, heavy hardcover Barbra is held securely even though the book weighs over 3 pounds and is +\- 10x6”! I would suggest the maker of this holder use arms a bit larger and a bit less strong. It’s a nice large holder-good for large books and magazines. The wood is quality and I like the angle choices for the display!

I really like this book holder! It is well built, accommodates books large and small (it easily and securely holds a large biology text book sitting in as i write this). This is by far the best book holder i've tried. I have four others and they are cheap and flimsy plastic affairs that are only good for paperbacks. This one is built well enough to last a lifetime. It has a wide range of adjustments, and also features rubber "feet" that keep the unit firmly in place. The arms for holding down the pages are bent so as to be spring-loaded and do an excellent job in securing the pages. Besides all its excellent features and design, it is also very attractive. And the price is right too!!

I've read books all of my life I love to read. How did I get by without this holder? It's perfect for reading when you're eating, lying in bed before sleeping, sitting outside on the patio. You name it...it's perfect wherever you are. It's beautiful and sturdy. The little arms that hold your pages work perfectly. This is not flimsy in any way. I love it so much I bought 2 more. One I gave to my sister for Christmas and the other I bought for my daughter-in-law who is a college student and has to read a lot for her courses. Have I mentioned the price? I first saw this in Barnes and Noble for $40.00!!! I didn't buy it because of the high price. On Amazon I got 3 because the price is so good. Exact same product, by the way. If you're a reader or cook or need a great present for someone who is, buy this product. You won't be sorry.

Looks great, if wood grain is your thing. Holds a decent sized book (like a text book) easily. The flip up page holders is great when working from a recipe or code example. The bottom book support folds down for storage. My only complaint is I wish it folded completely flat. Instead the book support ledge adds thickness to it when folded. As does the tilting kick stand on the back. But those are minor complaints.
