Portable Watercolor Tin Palette, 40 Empty Half Pans with Magnetic Stripe

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these! Perfect for on the go, travel, and home use with just enough paint space for what I need. Love the magnetic part and plan on buying a second one of these for a different "setup" of watercolor paints I want for certain days. Great value for the money, love the mixing space, good quality, and SO very pretty!

I dithered about getting one of these tins for months. It seemed unnecessary, but when I paint, I tend to gather all of the color I think I'm going to use, then when I'm done I have to figure out where they go again. I finally ordered, and I'm so glad I did! I chose this waterlilies pattern to remind me the blues and greens will be stored in there. I was also planning on putting purples in there, too. When I got it, I was unbelievably pleasantly surprised that the back was purple with pink waterlilies! It's so beautiful, so now the pinks will go in here, too, making up my standard go-to palette. And I'm going to smile each time I reach for my paints just looking at the tin. There is no hinge to the case, but that's fine. With the magnets I can split the paints out if needed and just use either the top or the bottom when painting. The bottom is much taller than the top, and the top fits on really well. You won't have to worry about the tin opening up and clattering around if you're clumsy like I am. The magnets are adhesive, but the adhesive isn't terribly strong. Perhaps that's why they included glue points. A hit of white glue would probably also work well. I'm planning on mainly using this tin for paints I already have, but I'm excited at having so many pans I can mix paint into!

The tin has a beautiful print in it. The pans are really good and just how they're supposed to be. Something disappointing about this item were the magentic strips. They don't adhere to anything with their own glue! The don't stick to the pans. I haven't tried using hot glue or anything because it was just a pain. I simply used the halfpans for a standard 24 pans black metal palette. And I know I have that beautiful Monet-themed tin in case I need it. Wouldn't use it as a watercolor palette itself tho.

Just as expected. I bought the rose version in 2020 and recently got more colors so decided to buy a second one. I use mostly daniel smith water colors, but dont like to use it out of the tube. I love these for my pallets. Perfect for my needs. I super glue the magnets on but that's not necessary. I use double sided tape to have my color swatches taped to the lid. Overall great price and lasts forever and no rusting issues. Very happy with the purchase.

I actually ended up buying two of these tins, each a different design and I am so happy I did. I had six smaller travel tins for my watercolors and now these two tins hold all of my paints perfectly. From six to two tins. So much easier now to use and travel with. I also love the beautiful designs. And so many choices too! Some reviewers mentioned the magnets not sticking very well to the pans …easy fix: I just used a craft glue to help with that and problem solved. I appreciate the price. Very much worth it!! I love a good find.

A very useful item. I ordered a second one.

I ordered three of these pans: a black, a wood grain, and this marble tone. The first two were great - the marble pan not so much. The magnetic pieces did not stick to the plastic wells and that won’t do for holding paint. I had to glue the magnets to the bottom of the wells. Except for this, the pans are great. They are not bulky taking up a lot of space and the magnets stick well to the pan bottoms but because the inside of the lids are not white, I use a separate mixing tray. Except for the marble tray I am pleased with these. If I add a new color, I can move the wells around and just adjust the color map I carry along with them.

Perfect as advertised small and metal lid closes airtight. Magnetic strip easy to apply to each pan. Great price. Recommend it very highly. Would even like to see same design in larger set of 60 -100 to fill in with gouache and WC paints in one place

This little tin with its pans that you can fill is so great for easy light mobility. Highly recommend. Like the fact that it’s magnetic so the pans don’t slide around even when the tent is only partially full

For some reason I thought this tin would be bigger, but it is a really cute tin to hold your paints in. I love Monet as a painter so it was a no brainer for me to get this tin!

I like the image on this tin but it is a little flimsy in design. The biggest issue is that it has actually arrived damaged. Both the bottom tray and the lid have rather large dints in them and the lid doesn't close securely.....possibly because of the damage. I'm REALLY disappointed, especially for the money. I have bought cheaper locally but they are much sturdier, just not as 'pretty'.
