This is an interesting 4 camera dvr system and backup camera system in one. Set up is easy. Cameras seem to be pretty good and image quality is not bad. Overall the system is very nice. It's great for anyone looking for a dvr/backup camera system for an rv.

The system captures the surroundings very well. I’m having trouble getting the color to adjust. The night vision on a couple of cameras, especially the rear, puts off a bright glare making it difficult to see.

The main reason for buying the Pyle PLCMTRDVR47 was the claim stated many times throughout the sales site, on the product box, and in the manual. The feature claim was: "Ability to Connect Additional / External Cameras". I emailed Pyle back on June 2021 about exactly how this was possible, the tech support responded they were not sure and would inquire about it. I received correspondence that they were still looking into it every week for about 4 weeks; after the return date I have no longer received a response nor have they returned my inquiry about it. Highly untrustworthy customer support, definitely will never recommend them and will never endorse them if I am asked. Been in the automotive industry as a technician for over 20 years plus have 10 years experience in the security field, never have had such issues nor had a product company communicate until they felt safe to ignore a customer. Unprofessional!
