I purchased two of these. They are plastic - one solid piece. Wash by hand only. They are very long, rectangle shape with many compartments. They do stack, I place paper towels between them to prevent scratches. I was super disappointed in my so called prime delivery - no fault of the selling entity. They did come in a really old reused box. They were lost for a very long time and showed out for delivery for literally days. They obviously eventually arrived - but way late and in fact the selling entity opened an investigation. I just wish I was getting the delivery I paid for! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

The best quality of Japanese Bento Box!

I like being able to serve my sushi and sashimi dinners in these bento boxes. It shows very well and is impressive - just like you would get at a restaurant. We hand wash and wipe it immediately after use. Arrived in perfect condition!
