I'm in love with this product! My skin is extremely dehydrated. It makes plenty of oil- I get the acne and shiny skin to prove it!- but it also gets very red, flakey, scaly, and dry. It's the worst of both worlds! It's highly reactive to boot, so many ingredients only manage to irritate and dry my skin skin further. I'm happy yet shocked to say that this just works! It does exactly what it's supposed to do without adding to my skin's issues any. It even has a pleasant odor with any harsh or unnecessary ingredients. I was using a highly rated micellar water/toner with little results. Then I realized the "oil" component in micellar water, the PEG component, is either castor oil or a derivative of it, but regardless, castor oil trashes my skin so no wonder my results were pretty much nonexistent. This does for me what the "miracle" micellar water promised to- it gently tones and clears my pores without and irritation or damage. I started using it a week before my time of the month. Since switching to natural skincare my skin has cleared up tremendously but I still get huge cysts once a month that heal relatively quickly after that week is over. Coincidentally, I did NOT have them this month. While I realize it takes weeks, if not a few months, for products to truly clear the skin, I credit this with clearing out the amped up hormonal oil production. I will definitely buy this for as long as they make it, which I hope is forever!

Over the years, I have tried many many products to try and treat and control my acne. Most of them I have had to discontinue because it either didn't work, or it would dry my skin out way too much. Because of this, I was hesitant at first to try out this tone. I didn't know what to expect. But I'm so glad I took the plunge. I have been using this morning at night, after washing my face. I simply apply the toner to a cotton ball and wipe it over the entirety of my face. After if dries, I apply my regular moisturizer and I'm good to go. This tone does not dry my face out at all, and the scent is very mild and pleasant. Best of all, it really works! When I first started using it, I had a couple of breakouts cropping up around my cheeks. Using this twice a day cleared my skin up within a couple of days, and no new acne has tried to show up! I am sold! I am so glad I have found something that really works!

I use the Acne Free face wash system and I tend to run out of toner before everything else. So, I'm glad that they offer the toner individually. This gets me through until my next subscription comes in. Very handy. I've tried experimenting with other toners, but this is the only one that seems to really get the job done.

Apply witch hazel with a cotton ball anywhere irritation is experienced up to a few times a day. You should also use it as part of your cleansing routine after you wash your face. Saturate a cotton pad or cotton ball with witch hazel and wipe it across your face. Helped my pre-teens face from an acne breakout within 5 days, nearly clear. He says it very soothing to his acne. I’ve found him applying throughout the day on his own without me reminding him. When I asked what he was doing “getting pain relief”.

This product has many similar ingredients too expensive acne solutions on the market such as Glycolic acid and witch hazel. This solution works wonders, I can't rave about it enough to my friends. I have oily skin and this helps control my oil, smooth my acne scarring and with occasional breakouts. I'll often use this solution in combination with the mask of magnaminty from Lush and it leaves my face baby smooth. Great product and value for only $10! Many other glycolic solutions I've tried run close to $60 from Peter Thomas Roth and didn't work as effectively.
