## Description

EverOne Olive Drab 80% Wool Fire Retardant Blanket - 66" X 90"

Review: Heavyweight, durable and very warm. - I had an army blanket as a child. It was extremely warm and durable. Ordered this blanket hoping it would at least be half the blanket of my original blanket. It is MUCH better than I expected. Thin yet dense, very heavy and insulating. It did arrive smelling of chemicals, which is to be expected, because of its high wool content. A deterrent to insects that tend to destroy woolen fabrics. I love this blanket and may buy another.
Review: Happy with this purchase - I like it. Nice size. Will be perfect to use in my sleeping bag. Washed it on gentle, dried it on delicate with a few dryer sheets. Remaing smell is faint. Certainly not unbearable. Left some fuzz in the lint trap. Nothing alarming. I havent used it yet for it's intended purpose. I expect it to be as warm as any other lightweight wool blanket ive used as a sleeping layer. I'll update this after I use it camping if it fails to keep me warm, but if there is no update, assume it performed exactly as I expected it to.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can it be washed in the regular washer and dryer? Or does it need any special treatment?**
A: Washing a wool blanket, and ESPECIALLY mechanically washing it, will shorten it's life significantly. All those fibers in your washer and dryer? They're no longer part of the blanket. Wash a wool blanket ONLY when it's really obvious that it needs it. If you can just hang it in bright sunlight that's much better for the longevity.

**Q: how much does it weigh?**
A: It is extremely light and coming apart before I got it out of the pack. As bad a piece of junk as I have ever seen. I'm shocked that amazon still deals with it. Oh, and it stinks something awful.

**Q: What is the other 20 percent of the material in the blanket?**
A: Synthetic fibers and fire retardant chemicals with names that if people knew where in the blankets they wouldn’t be sleeping under them.

**Q: Is this blanket machine washable in water and laundry detergent?**
A: Well it’s wool, so machine was on wool cycle, on gentle cold water.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Warm and Lightweight
*by G***D on June 8, 2026*

Nice and warm! Expect to clean some shed out of your washing machine after the first wash (and don’t wash with lighter colors), but no issues after that. Great to stash in your vehicle for emergencies, or keep with your camping gear as an extra blanket! I’ve been using mine while camping for about a month and I have no complaints.
