Noise: A graphic novel based on a true story

I can’t fault the novel. My 11 year old saw the cover and thought it was about noise. It’s not. It’s not. It’s about loss and is a very emotional book.

I ordered this for my 13 year old while on deployment overseas. I knew nothing about it or how short it was, lol if I had I may not have purchased it, because I honestly thought it was a novel. But I would have been wrong. I personally have not read it or seen it in person, but my daughter just messaged me that she received it, read it, cried and LOVED it! As a shy 13 year old who always wears headphones she said this “book” really spoke to her and was so happy I got it for her. I got like 5 “I love yous” in our text exchange about the book. So I consider it $10 well spent and am looking forward to reading it myself when I get home

My daughter really loves graphic novels. The description sounded super cute however this book was a huge disappointment. The content is on the level of a second grader with mostly pictures and single words/ simple sentences. The story was boring. I think the description had more words than the book.For $10 it’s incredibly small. This book is not worth more than two dollars. She finished it is less than 10 minutes. Normally she reads her graphic novels over and over. This one is getting returned.

The art is beautiful and the story is heartfelt. Great message of kindness. It is a great story for kids who love Smile or Best Friends. It is short and a little pricey for the length. I feel bad for taking a star off for that because it has more to do with the publisher’s description than the quality of the work.

What can I say my daughter really loves this book! She relates to the story and it has taught her some valuable concepts. So much so that it's inspired her to want to be a writer. After reading this book she has written 30 pages on her own (13 Years Old) it has had a big impact on her. If you have a teenage daughter or older maybe this is a great book I highly recommend!

My ten year old read this in about 2 mins. It’s very short. It’s a soft cover book almost like a pamphlet. Great story but short and overpriced

Muy educativo

This is a short, but powerful elementary graphic book. Cathryn is a young girl who hates noise. On the first day of seventh grade, she meets fourth-grader Tyler on the bus. He is a very talkative young boy. He annoys her with all of his chatter and she yells at him. She feels bad for yelling at him and looks for him after school. You must read this book to see how kindness can make such a difference.

A few pages long. Absolute rip off for £7. It pretty much went straight in the bin!

Nice book, fast shipping

A sweet short story which inspired my little one to write her own.

This is literally only 24 pages. It is not a novel and for the price it is really not worth the under 5 minute read.

Not worth the spend I engorged you to spend your money on something better it looked great the cover and drawing were great but the quality and it was increasingly small only 25 pages my daughter but a normal graphic novel next to it and you could see the difference also the book didn’t have much thought into it my daughter was incredibly disappointed ☹️ It was sweet but very rushed like the author hadn’t put much thought into it.
