adidas Team Speed Duffel Bag (Medium)

Adidas Team Speed Medium Duffle Bag (Lead/Black) Space: The bag is a great size, it's very spacious and can comfortably be carried even when on the heavy side. In the main compartment, I can easily fit two pairs of boxing gloves, a pair of Taekwondo kick pads, punch mitts, a towel, and a big pouch of hand wraps. Inside of the main compartment there is a small, zippered pouch attached just under the flap that shuts the bag up. This pouch can fit a large phone with ease (I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 but the pouch could probably fit an iPhone 6 Plus). In the long side pocket that goes the length of the bag, I store a pair of ankle weights, 2 grip strengtheners, and a pair of both ankle and wrist braces (this pocket is surprisingly big) The front pocket with the meshish cover goes the width and the height of the end of the bag. The mesh is great because if you have clothes or shoes in there the mesh gives it some air. This pocket goes deeper into the main compartment of the bag, so if it is not in use then the main compartment has more space, however, I use this pocket for a change of clothes (gym shorts and a tee) and I have plenty of space in the main compartment. This pocket can also comfortably fit a pair of MMA shoes as well and not compact the main compartment too much. The pocket on the opposite end of the bag does not protrude into the main compartment the way the mesh one does (it's about a third of the size), but can still easily fit all the gym-related-toiletries one would need very spaciously (icy hots, Biofreeze, deodorants). Durability: I'm the kind of guy who loves to toss his gym bag on the ground like they do in the movies and go "Bro, that was such a bad ass work out bro." This bag can withstand that as well as typical use on a daily basis. All the zippers are metal (I hate nothing more than non-metal zippers), and never jam up. The shoulder carry strap, although not as padded as it could be, is comfortable enough for short walks to the gym or dojo. If you intend to use this as a luggage bag for travelling, I would recommend getting a new shoulder strap (the shoulder strap is easily unclipped detached if need be), especially if the bag will be heavy, but for typical gym use (mine currently weighs about 15 pounds) the strap is not too bad and it is durable. The hand straps are basically the same in comfort and durability (I would have dropped my review to 4 stars but personally I don't find it an issue) Style: Dope. The bag looks cool and all of the available colours look great. (I personally recommend matching the colour of the bag to the colour of your shoes, because how cool is that? So cool) The only one thing that upset me: The price of this bag went down $5 literally the day after I bought it XD All in all, the Adidas Team Speed (Medium) is a perfect MMA or gym bag in my opinion, I wish the cooler colours weren't more expensive than the plainer colours, but one must invest if they want to be known as the gym rat with Orange Team Speed.

Great bag, good size, good pocket placement. The outside full-lenght zipper is great - inside is a "key clip" which I use religiously. The side pockets lower half on one side is mesh - so that's where my head bands, etc. go. on the other side is a weather-proof zipper where I keep aspirin, an ACE bandage and I keep my daily CLIF bar in that side for when I leave the gym. The interior has ample room for a pair of shoes, a basketball and a knee brace..or if I carry my basketball or don't bring it to the gym it easily carries my cowboy boots, jeans, undershirt, under garments, and a big heavy sweatshirt + tee shirt without running out of space. It was constructed very well - the zippers don't seem like they will break anytime soon unless you are trying..the straps and handles are strong and feel supportive - the velcro on the handle sticks well and won't come off. I played sports as a child, was a letterman in football, basketball, baseball and track in high school, played Division I college basketball, and go to the gym now 4 times a week + pickup basketball 2 times a week and through the 40 or so gym backs / duffel bags I've owned: This is by far the best duffell bag I've ever invested in. Also; LOVE that electric blue color scheme. Very snappy. If you are looking for a duffel bag, spend the $40 on Amazon on this one. You will not find a better bag for a better price (or for a much higher price), period.

It’s durable and allows for great ventilation from sweaty towels and clothes. I’ve found that storing it into small lockers is a breeze. The base will mildly support a vertical structure and the material is easily malleable without leaving any permanent shapes or molds. I’ve been very tough on my bag. My dog had chewed my 1st one, destroying the comfortable shoulder strap as well as almost chewing through the hand grips. That said, despite the damage, I have been using that same chewed up bag for a little over 8 months. I thought that the handle would fall off at the slightest addition of weight, but that was 7 months ago. I could keep using the damaged one, however, this bag looks great and doesn’t break the bank.

Love my new gym bag. The green is very bright, and the bag itself is well made. It's going to last a while. It also comes in very handy for away games, especially when they're a few hours away. I use the long side pocket for my cosmetics, and can fit in bottles of lotion, my make up, hair ties, pins, brushes, hair spray, and there is still plenty more room. The two little side pockets re perfect for my ankle braces, knee pads, and socks, and still have room to double up. Inside there is a little zip pocket that is perfect to store your phone, money, or jewelry. I can also fit my uniform, my warm up, my bb sneakers, and a comfy change of clothes for after the game and the ride home. I can also fit a blanket, and regular size pillow pet for a comfy ride home. This gym bag is perfect, and fits all my needs plus.

Very happy with this bag so far. Have only been using a few days, but it's a great bag. Seems to be built sturdily, and I believe it will last a long time. Even then, it does have the lifetime manufacturer warranty. For those of you that are concerned about the size - Medium is HUGE. I can barely fit it into the half-size lockers at Planet fitness (pretty standard size lockers). If you're worried that you won't be able to fit everything you need in it, you need to consider getting a second car to carry gear, because I can fit multiple shower towers, shoes, and outfits in this thing. in fact, if you don't carry a lot, I can't say I would recommend it, as it just sort of collapses a bit if you don't have a lot of gear in it. I had a hard time even filling it halfway. There are hooks and loops on the bottom and top of the bag for storing it on a hook in a locker vertically, obviously this will not fit horizontally in many lockers. One more feature I'd like to comment on is the 'fresh pack' in the side. This is GREAT for storing sweaty gym clothes, shower towel, or shoes after a workout. It keeps them from making everything else in the bag smell, and gives them a bit of ventilation. You can fit quite a bit in this compartment - I usually put my towel and a pair of dirty workout clothes in it when needed for a work day. Edited 11/6/14: About a month after purchase, this thing is holding up very well still despite using it frequently and occasionally snagging it on the edges of the gym locker pulling it out (it is slightly large for the lockers I use it in, but it fits). New products make it more exciting to go to the gym, and this bag is no exception.

This bag is excellent. I read many reviews before buying it. Many if the negative reviews I read were related to personal preference. I'm happy I didn't focus on them. The bag is excellent quality in my opinion. The material is not as thick as I had expected but that added to its appeal for me. It is the perfect size for what I need it for. I carry 2 sets of gym clothes, 1 pair of extra sneakers, 1 pair of work dress shoes, a towel, toiletry kit, cologne, and a drawstring bag that I use while working out. It all fits with a little extra room to spare. I like the side mesh compartment on the side for my damp clothes post workout. I will buy this bag again after the constant wear and tear I expose it to makes it unusable. The cost was also excellent.

Great bag! I use it for a gym bag. The shoe compartment is ventilated and fits my size 13 running shoes perfectly, although I wonder if a larger shoe would fit in there. The orange color is great. I wanted something other than the usual black/dark colored stuff I buy. The shoulder strap is adjustable across a wide range of lengths. I use the side compartment to hold my shower gel and foot spray and the front pocket to keep my deodorant. The inside pouch is nice for holding my locker lock. There isn't a dedicated water bottle holder, but honestly, I'm not sure where this could be incorporated and so I just toss it in the main compartment. I find the size great for a change of clothes and my gym clothes, plus a few odds and ends (energy bar, post-workout snack, whatever) with room to spare.

A review from my 12 yr old son: I purchased this duffel bag for trips with my youth group trips or for staying at grand parents for an extended period of time. I wasn’t particularly looking for a gym bag but I didn’t want to carry a suitcase. This is a decently large bag it is perfect for weekend trips but too big for just a simple change of clothes. I have only used this bag one time when I visited my grandparents. I used it for just an overnight stay and it was too big. I am planing on going on a youth group trip in February and I am looking forward on taking this bag. It seems to be high quality and so I am not worried about taking it on a trip. So far this product has worked as I expected and I am happy with it.
