Lexar High-Performance MicroSDXC 633x 64GB UHS-I U1 w/USB 3.0 Reader Flash Memory Card (old U3 version) LSDMI64GBBNL633R

As the name indicates, this micro SD card is high performance. I bought this card to replace a Silicon Power 64GB card which was either a fake, a defect, or a piece of junk to begin with (I purchased it directly from amazon, not from a reseller so I don't believe it was a fake). The card itself looks exactly like the one pictured. It comes with a USB 3.0 micro SD card adapter which can’t be more than an inch and a quarter in length. The small size and the fact that it’s USB 3.0 have made it my default travel adapter when we go on trips with our camera. I've never had an issue of any kind with this card while capturing either video or still photographs; it captures both smoothly and quickly. Transferring data to and from the card is fast and snappy as well (also reliable here too, never had an issue with missing data). I own close to a dozen Micro SD cards of varying density and brand and this Lexar is as solid performer as I’ve ever come across. It's easily the best card I've owned and now use it as the main card in my camera. You can buy it, pop it into your device and forget all about it because it just works, the first time and every time. The price is a little higher than some other quality brands like SanDisk and Samsung, but the quality, speed and reliability of this memory card makes it my first choice for my most important devices like my camera.

This product is great. It was on sale when I bought it, but is still very reasonably priced even when not on sale. Anyway, its a great card. Fast reads and writes, great for high quality picture and video recording. High storage capacity, great for music, videos, and pictures. I currently have it in my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and it stores apps as well. The reason I bought this is because it also comes with a Micro SD to USB adapter. With this adapter, I am able to use this Micro SD card in my phone, my Surface Pro 3, and any other computer I use that has a USB port. Overall, the product is very convenient and works great.

The specific reason for getting the Lexar 633x 64gb card was for GoPro. Most of the memory cards on that the market that "Should' be compatible with GoPro cameras are anything but. When GoPro's most data intensive settings are selected, the vast majority of the cards cut off at unpredictable intervals. This specific Lexar card (633xspeed) has not cut off on any setting, from empty card to the full 64gb filled. This card is strongly recommended for GoPro to work as you require. 633x number is actually what should be paid close attention to determine the speed in which any card is capable of Reading/Writing. All the cards on the market can be track down to have write/read number expressed in this fashion. The number is derived by dividing the cards' read/write speed by the speed of the first CD-ROMs to hit the market. In short, if a card is 2x it writes/reads two times as fast as a CD-ROM. Most cards on the market cannot read/write as they claim on their advertising, and their actually Read/Write number is actually pretty low. This card at 633x is one of the fastest and the most cost effective for GoPro and preforms as advertise for a change.

Great little memory card. Fast as lightning and the included USB adapter is very useful. BUT - the first one I was sent had terrible problems with heat. It would get so hot, that after being plugged in for a minute or so, it would be almost too hot to touch. I didn't matter what USB port or computer I plugged it into. Just plugging it in was enough to make it very warm; actively copying files made it even hotter. After a day, both pieces cooked themselves to death and neither worked. I returned it under warranty, and so far the second one has not had the same issue. So if you buy one, be sure to check it for heat build-up ASAP using the USB adapter right away.

I have been reading about a disturbing trend, counterfeit sd cards. (if you really know your real product you should be able to spot a bad one, many of the companies rely on their reputation so please give them a chance to help you. After all they may have been duped) You can go to different sites that have a comparison of different cards and their nemesis. Many say that if you don't get the main brand you could get a virus. But what are we to do, we want to keep a memory of our trips, school functions for our kids, or business affairs. I can only tell you what I know about this little micro sd card. It is a high quality, high capacity card. For example: went on a two week trip 747 photos and 18 1min videos later and wasn't even 1/2 full. The card functioned as it should have, the phographer on the other hand. For those that don't understand what all the number and letters on the sd card mean I'll try to help sort it out. I know someone who is a bit more technologically sauve than me may refine the descriptions. Lexar=the brand that you have purchased. The number below the brand, in this case 633x=should indicate the cards fastest read speed. Next move to the 10 in the circle=this is your write speed, in this case 10mb/s (10 mega bites a second) This gives you full HD video recording and consecutive HD recording of stills. 32GB=the amount of memory it can hold. It is concidered one of the larger end so estimates are about 8,000 songs, again it's what you put on it, but you shouldn't run out of memory. Micro sd hc=It is a micro sized so you will need an adapter to load it into your computer to add songs, videos etc. HC=High capacity. The total name of sdhc=Secure digital high capacity. 3 in the u=a minimum write performance of 30 mb/s lets you record HD video resolution while having the ability to do other functions. Finally the 1=the grade of performance. Hopefully this will help you in choosing the right sd card for the functions you need and the capacity you want. Oh and you can lock the card by sliding the little button into lock, so everything is safe. A good little card!

muy buen servicio, el tiempo de entrega es genial, mucho antes de los pactado, estoy muy contento con la compra, seguire comprando en amazon, esta tarjeta es muy recomendable para tabletas y telefonos celulares de alta gama, pero yo la usare para mi GoPro ya que es de muy alto rendimiento e igual la recomiendan la pagina de GoPro, por supusto que existen opciones mas economicas que pueden funcionar tambien, pero si buscan alto rendimiento esta es la tarjeta perfecta para ti.

Nice tiny usb3 connector and high performance microSD. I use this in a Canon 5D and it does 95Mb/sec as advertised. Also use another one in my Samsung Note Pro tablet and works very well. So small is easy to lose! I have 4 units and leave them plugged into a usb hub when not in use.

For some reason it stopped reading and wouldnt format. Performed a RMA online at Lexar as via their Live Support Chat I sent my card back and they sent me a new one. Lifetime Warranty is superb. So good I decided to buy this 128GB version. The 11 hours of continuous uninterrupted recording I get in my Sony actioncam is just wonderful.
