A really wonderful book.
This is a really adorable book for a first time reader. I brought this book for my Grandson to help expand his reading skills. This book is not only affordable, but it's beautifully designed. The pictures are brightly colored and the size is just perfect. It's easy to read and understand. My Grandson is really going to enjoy this book.

Great book for early readers
Got this book to go with my 4 year old grandson's easter basket (all the grands got reading themed baskets this year) My grandson was thrilled with this book. He has just started reading alone in the last 2 months. He was able to pick up this book and immediately start reading. He was so proud to have a book that he can read without his Dad and Mom reading it first for him.

Bent book blues…
The book contents are good. Exactly as described. However, it was bent nearly in half. The packaging for such a flimsy item should be better!

The School Zone - I Want a Pet, Start to Read!® Book Level 1 is a fun and engaging read. It worked a little too well—after reading it, we ended up getting a dog, a cat, and gerbils!! OMG... thank you, I think, lol. The rhyming and picture clues made it easy and enjoyable for our little one, and now our house is a pet paradise. Highly recommend for budding readers, but beware—you might just end up with a mini zoo!

Great story about a child who wants a pet , very easy to read . Each page has a lot of animals in the picture for the child to find the animal that is that colour . Example it will say not a pink pet and in the picture will be a pig as it is pink along with different animals which are different colours The child decides on a green pet and it shows a bird and an iguana in the picture they decide on getting 2 pets . Children enjoyed the story it was great as you can discuss what would be a great pet and children can recognize Colours
