This filament prints great after drying (6-8 hrs at PLA temps) on an AMS with a Bambu P1S. Overall color looks more like a gun metal than a black but looks and prints great.

great quality, prints smooooth and i mean smooth. doesnt clog the nozzle, print quality is great, fantastic value. i have tried a couple of others and was really disappointed in them. I print pretty large objects, so having an affordable pla that is that a great quality is super important. would recommend.

This particular brand seems to be hit or miss. I’ve tried 3 different colors of the silk. The black and purple look and print great, but the roll of red I got seems to be impossible to get to print right. Won’t stick to bed, corners curl, layers separate. Don’t know if it’s just a bad roll or specific to the color and probably won’t ever know because I’ll avoid the red rather than risk wasting money on another roll. Will definitely buy more of the other two though.

It does make for a nice print. I had to turn my heat up quite a bit, and I found my nozzle was clogging during long prints, it is a new nozzle. I haven't tried to increase the nozzle heat some more yet though, I will the next time I make a print. I won't tell you my temperatures since every machine is different, but I would say start about 10 degrees higher than regular PLA. The material itself seems to be stiffer than PLA+ that I've been using, a little more brittle, and the filament will kink if you bend it. I was able to reproduce the look that is advertised in the picture.

I have tried this filament on several projects, but they all have the same results. The printer is set correctly for the filament and I have had success printing the same projects in other colors/brands. The filament is brittle and my prints will shatter easily on a hard floor. It also has missing areas in my prints. The color is exactly as pictured.
