Beware of Model Update
See video for full review. As of 4-7-2013 there is a newer model of the Quickdraw Plus (see the NathanSports website). After buying the newer model at a local store, I bought a second off Amazon and realized that there were two versions. I personally prefer the newer model, mainly due to the option to hold it a second way. I was planning on returning the second bottle to Amazon but the cost of shipping it back would hardly be worth it.I have yet to run with the older/Amazon version of the bottle. I will add an update to this review after doing so.Update:After running with both bottles, I still prefer the newer model. Here are a few more comparisons:-Both bottles were about the same in how easy they were to drink from--the difference in nozzle sizes didn't seem to make much of a difference.-The bigger nozzle on the newer model is slightly harder to open and slightly harder to close.-The top fabric band on the bottles is different. In the old model, it was elastic. This makes it much easier to take off the strap and clean the bottle by itself. In the new model, this band is stiff and it is either difficult or impossible to remove the strap from the bottle. I prefer the newer version because the hand strap stays more firmly in position while running.-The compartment size on both bottles seems the same.Final opinion: I think that this is a good product and I personally found the Quickdraw Plus (both versions) to be more comfortable to hold than the other running bottles I've handled. Having said that, I strongly prefer running with a Camelbak, as I find that swinging the weight of a water bottle on every stride is a bit cumbersome after a while.Update (7-22-13):The new version is now available on Amazon.

LOVE this!!
I have used a hydration belt (fuel belt) previously for my long runs and really liked it because it had zippered pockets for my gels and a couple other pockets for miscellanous other stuff I needed while running. However, with the raising temps and the fact I do my weekly runs over my lunch break at work, I needed something to hydrate me during those runs (5-7 miles). I felt the fuel belt was a bit pretentious and wanted something easy to work with.I HATE holding things when I run. I seriously do, which was why I laughed at myself when I decided to buy this fun little guy.I decided to try it out during my last 1/2 marathon. Figured it I could deal with it for 2 hours, it was a keeper and I really loved it. you don't have to "hold" onto anything. The hand strap has a thumb hole and it's kind of elasticy and you can tighten/loosen as needed. I found I could make a fist and the bottle didn't go anywhere. I never held the bottle, it was just attached to my hand!I used Nuun in the bottle and then drank the water at the stations. I find gatorade/powerade makes my stomach ill so it was nice to have the electrolytes that work for me with me and then just plain water at the stops.I use honey stingers for my longer runs and put those in the little pocket. I also put my gels in there as well. I tried my phone (HTC evo 4g) and it fit in there, but I have a phone pocket in my skort that works well for me so decided to use it for my nutrition. I don't think I could have done the phone + anything else as it was a pretty tight squeeze, but it did fit. I'll probably put my phone in there over my lunch break runs for convenience. All in all, this thing got me through a 1/2 marathon and I had no issues with it for the entire time, in fact barely knew it was there.

I love it. It's gotten me through 2000+ miles
I've had the previous model for probably a little over 3 years at this point. I love it. It's gotten me through 2000+ miles. But, through rain and sweat and time and heat the elastic has become non-elastic and the zipper sticks. So, time for a new one!The new Quick Draw Plus has a much tighter neck to hold onto the water bottle. So tight and so rigid that it takes me about a minute to slide onto a water bottle. Not the worst thing in the world, but pretty inconvenient when I have to spend an extra couple minutes a day forcing it on and fighting to get it off.The other big change is that the fabric that goes over your hand now curves. It used to be straight, which I think was a better design, the curved design causes it to go straight into the crook between my thumb and forefinger, causing it to rub during the run. However, the large bag is AMAZING. I can hold so much in it... I can even cram my moto x in there. I don't, but I could. I struggled to put my work badge and a credit card/ID in there when I ran to work, but now I can do all that plus snacks and still have room. Love that feature.TLDR; not all improvements are good.

Great bottle
I have been running for a few years now and had numerous different handhelds. This one is by far the best one i've used. A nice wide top on the bottle makes it very easy to get water even when your out of breath. It also allows you to easily get a good amount of water if needed, I find with other bottles it becomes a bit of a task to get anymore than a small sip. The carry case that come with the bottle is very comfortbale and easily adjustable. The pocket is of a good size, capable of holding numerous gels, I even managed to fit my phone it one day when I had nowhere else to put it. A great bottle and if I was to lose or damage it I would buy this one again in a heart beat.

Good product
You can just about squeeze an iPhone 7 in pocket. Not with headphones plugged in though, you need to leave zip open about 50%. Good product. No horrible smell in bottle. Would buy again when the times come to renew.

Not dishasher proof
Water bottle provided is not dishwasher proof, found this out the hard way. Holder fits hands and is good for long runs on warm days.

The bottle valve needs a good thump to close it and stop it leaking but other than that this is great: comfortable to use and very light. The difference between using one of these and holding a bottle is surprising: less tiring and stops your hands getting cold in winter. In races it helps remind you to drink frequently and is quick to refill at aid stations.

Very handy for runs and keeping everything together. For longer runs I switched the bottle over to a 750ml one all worked out ok.

Fait bien le taf
Vraiment pratique et légère. La taille encore en dessous c'aurait été parfait mais pour les sorties d'1h à 2h c'est vraiment cool.

Great for running
The little bag on the side is very nice for keys or tissues. Size of the bottle is also perfect for a run.

Très pratique
Très pratique pour le running. Plus besoin de tenir la gourde en se crispant.
