Unlock function via app and finger print has been reliable. The app works fine and is good for checking battery level. Set up and registering multiple finger prints was simple. Decided to get 3 different sizes of the eLinkSmart lock. Small YL-P8BF, Medium YL-P6BF, Large YL-P9BF. Convenient to be able to manage all 3 locks in the same app. Small lock is light duty and nice for a backpack, small lock box, etc. Medium lock works well for a gym locker, cabinet, gate, etc. Large lock is heavy duty and good for a heavy bike chain, large gate / door, etc. Nice not having to bother with keys or combinations. Hoping these will continue to be reliable and function well for a long time.

I bought this because I absent mindedly locked my own key in my own locker. Had to get the lock cut off. With a combo lock, sometimes, I don't remember the combination. This lock is easy to set up. I just use my thumb print to open. But you can use any finger. Firm build quality despite the small size and battery lasts forever. Opens fast and recognizes only the fingers register.

Used to lock my locker at the gym for two weeks and it’s already broke! Worked great at first. I fully charged it the day I got it and had no issues. This morning I went to the gym and the lock wouldn’t register a touch at all. Thought maybe the battery life wasn’t as good as previous comments suggested and risked having my stuff in a unlocked locker. When I got home I plugged the lock into it’s charger ,and the charge light turned on. In about 10 minutes the green light ,indicating full charge, turned on so i tried the lock again and nothing still dead to the world. Would recommend going with a higher end fingerprint lock or better yet an old school combination ,because these locks are cheaply built and are pretty small for permanent lock ups.

I purchased this lock for my daughter to use on her gym locker so she does not need to remember a combo or keep up with a key. She loves the lock and it makes things easy for her. The only thing I would like is for the lock to be a little larger. It’s not quite as large as a standard padlock but works on her locker. Battery seems to last as she typically only needs to bring it home during Christmas break to charge. Once charged it typically last a few months with daily usage. This is the second one that I bought for her cause the first one was stolen at school when she left it off her locker while changing.

I just wanted a lock for the gym that was easy and didn’t require any thought while I swim . The directions are easy to follow while you program your finger prints . It comes with a little charging cord and I usually don’t have to charge it for a week and a half if I go 3 days a week . It reads my finger even when it’s wet . It’s not a hefty lock so I wouldn’t use it if you are locking up precious jewels or anything but it’s fine deterrent for the simple things you bring to a gym .

Great little lock. No fumbling with keys as a matter of fact, you can lock your keys up with this lock in your locker. the finger print reader works flawlessly. I swim at the Y and place everything into the locker while I am in the pool. Come back swipe my finger and remove my personal belongings. No dialing combinations, No taking keys with me. However, I cannot attest to its durability as a Lock. It will do the job securely. But I don't feel it will hold up to some one with the intent of breaking in. Thats why I suggest you use this in a secure location that has adequate supervision and not lock up anything of serious value with it. Besides that. its a great little lock. Semper Fi

The product works well and functions like a charm but the pictures are a little misleading. I don't believe it would be hard to break, for the price u would expect something just a little more durable than the item is, appears to be cheaply made. The scanner is not very big (I have big hands) so I had to register a certain part of my thumb and can be a little difficult unlocking do to having to precisely place my thumb in position to match only top corner part of thumb, like a puzzle. It is ok for the idea of letting someone know u don't want them getting into whatever you have locked up but I believe if they want in it wouldn't take much effort.

This lock actually works. I can unlock it with my fingerprint or from my phone. The instructions explain that every single time you turn on the lock you have to sync it for actual time to unlock it from phone but it is really user friendly. I suggest for you to change the name and password after setting it up with your phone so no one else can unlock it.

I just got this fingerprint padlock yesterday and it won’t even open/unlock! I followed the instructions yet it still won’t unlock and won’t register a new fingerprint because of that. Now I have to return this garbage and buy a different one. Such a waste of time!

No software provided. You can’t do anything with the loc. The app mentioned in the documentation doesn’t exists anymore
