Prefect racks for racking balls
Love the racks Keeps the balls tight in the racks

Tight Rack every time !
This works great for a tight rack every time. As far as storage and transport, Iโd recommend keeping in an oversized book at home , but might not be doable for transport to pool hall etc.

9 is good, 8 is bait.
9 and 10 ball rack works fine, but the 8 ball rack leaves a gap every time.

100% Perfect Rack 100% of the Time.
The product seems expensive for how it is made but it's worth every penny if you take your pool seriously. How do practice your break shots with non-tight racks and achieve some consistency? Magic Rack solves that problem and ends all quibbles over the quality of a rack in competition. Run two strings on your table to create a perfect rack placement. Then use a fine tip black felt pen to mark the three corners on the Magic Rack. Walla! Drop the Magic Rack on the black dots and place the balls. No guesswork for an ideal rack every game. The instructions claim you can rack in 15 seconds. Yes, you can if the Magic Rack is in place and the balls are available. I'd say about 30 seconds to one minute from start to finish after a game would be the norm unless you intentionally hurry. If you play 14.1, keep your triangle where a perfect rack is not essential other than the opening break shot safety. For any other game, 8-ball, 9-ball, 10-ball, One Pocket, I'm a devoted Magic Rack Man. On most racks, the film can be removed straightaway. The thin edge on the film can slightly affect a super slow rolling ball near the end of its energy. Normal rolls, no problem.

Perfect Rack Every Time
This rack is awesome. Itโs very intuitive, which makes it easy to figure out how itโs supposed to be used. The design makes it so that each ball is either in perfect alignment or it rolls off the template. Every break puts a smile on my face. Iโve only encountered a few instances where a ball came to rest on the template. We just continued game play until the template was clear. There was some minor deflection when attempting to shoot across the template so I think it would be better to pick and place interfering balls rather than to play over it. Update 4/17/2018: I've been using these racks for a few months now and I wanted to provide a quick update. They work very well when you want a nice clean break; however, if you're playing a game like straight pool or 14.1 where you're trying to keep all the balls at the foot of the table I find that the template ends up being in the way for most of the game. A standard triangle rack works much better for those situations.

Should Have Gotten This Sooner
Immediately upon ordering, I received notification of shipping, and the product showed up at my door in a timely fashion. It made it's trip without incident, and was in good condition upon arrival. I tried it right away, and it definitely works. The wooden triangle and 9 ball racks that I was using, really don't rack the balls tightly together at all. The balls would roll apart as soon as I picked the rack off the table. And the center dot sticker, wasn't helping matters. These Magic Ball racks hold the balls precisely where they need to be, so that they are touching each other when your cue ball makes contact during the break. The dot sticker at the head string, is no longer an issue. This thin little shape sits on top of the dot and helps you align the rack properly. After using these a few times, I can rack more quickly than I could before. Most times, you can pick the thin rack off the table immediately after the break because the balls are out of the way. At other times, you can usually remove it after the second player takes their shot. The 9 ball in the center hasn't moved much during the break. It's a very tight rack. My husband was sinking two balls on the break last night though. This was new. I highly recommend this item. It's 2 items actually. It's a good value too.

Love this thing!!!
I've used these at my usual hall, and kept swearing to my buddies that I'd buy my own soon. Well, I finally did. There are several advantages to using this rack. First of all, it makes perfect ball to ball contact every rack, regardless of how humid hot/cold the room is (like wooden racks so easily do). It's super low profile doesn't effect the path of travel on the break, or even if you have to shoot a few balls off of it before picking it up off the table. And finally, going back to my first point I suppose, is that I can finally REALLY work on my break! It's the one variable that I can control, and that's enough to vary other parts of my break (like angle, english, power, etc.), and improve the control I have for different games or rack arrangements. I just love this thing for being able to work on that part of my game. However... The one $#!+ part that I cannot leave out is that it's a real pain in the ass to carry around in 8x10 plastic bag. If you roll this thing up, it will warp. It you fold it, it will crease. And both of these things WILL detract from the overall performance. Then again, it's a small price to pay to be able to have the consistency of perfect racks every time. I keep mine in in the visor of my 4Runner, so I don't damage it. So far, none of my pals have found a good way to carry/store it, but ALL of us agree that it's well worth just buying another one if it warps or gets creased. Final advice: If you are a serious player, or even someone looking to improve your game, BUY THIS! You WILL notice a difference as soon as you use it!
