Worth a try
I bought this 3 pack of Golden Icepure filters for my Kenmore Elite refrigerator. I was skeptical at first. After reading other posts about how they spewed black carbon from the filter and leaked inside the fridge. When I received the filters, they were not damaged in any way. I pulled one out to visually compare it with the stock Kenmore filter. They matched and I proceeded to install the filter. It fit with no problems. After installing the filter, I bled the system by running the water into a gallon pitcher twice. The water tastes good. Not Kenmore quality, but good. At $29.99 for three filters, I highly recommend giving Golden Icepure filters a try. You might be surprised.

Customer support went above and beyond
So I actually purchased the wrong model for my fridge (keep an eye on that connection nozzle my friends!), but I simply emailed customer support with a picture of my old filter and my new (wrong) ones, and they immediately 1) refunded me and 2) went out and BOUGHT ME NEW CORRECT FILTERS? I don't even believe that they produced the correct filter themselves, but they went and found someone who did, and sent me filters from them in just a few days. Easily the best customer support I've ever received. Don't be afraid of getting these, if something goes wrong then you're in good hands.
