wonderful product but was just a little thin and just a hair long for my neck. with just a little bit of work I was able to make it work perfectly.

Excellent drop-in addition to your MIM Fender Strat. Fit it perfectly with basic tools and a tiny bit of sanding. Seems to improve tuning stability after vigorous use of the trem bar. It was an excellent value for the money and I would buy it again for all my Fender guitars.

Really nice nut top quality

Always my go to when I need a new nut. Sand the bottom properly and no nut files are needed. Just be sure to sand the G, B, (and especially) the high E) a little more, as the strings are thinner on this side and need to sit ever-so-slightly a little lower. Or have someone do it for you if not up to the task, because if you go too far you'll need another but it have to use a shim.

I just needed the string trees and they work flawlessly. I am saving the nut for a future project. These just drop in place and really make a difference in tuning stability.

It works but it's just barely tall enough on my Squire tele. Wish there was a bit more height to work with.

Great product. It was relatively easy to install. In reality the biggest install issue wasn’t related to this kit itself, but removing the original plastic nut. I installed on a Fender Squier Affinity to replace the original nut since I was already going to have the strings off. However, the lacquer finish on the headstock and neck had it locked in pretty good. I spent about an hour and a half on the replacement, with only about 15-20 minutes actually dealing with this product. In the end I had to cut the old one out with a dremel rotary tool. Once I had that mess out of the way sanding and installing this was a breeze. It fit snug enough that I didn’t even need to glue it in position.

Esta pequeña cosa en verdad puede hacer la diferencia en la entonacion y confiabilidad en la afinación. El nut lo puse en una american stratocaster de radio 9.5 y solo tuve que limar un poco la pestaña que trae y que es para radio flat. Los árboles sujetadores de la primera y segunda cuerda funcionan mejor que los metalicos que trae de fábrica y ayuda a que las cuerdas deslicen y se mantengan afinadas. En resumen: Un buen upgrade para mi guitarra.

I recieved the item but the Black Tusq XL slotted nut is not on the packaging. Only the string tree and screws are there. The Black Tusq XL slotted nut has been taken out of the packaging since the pack is loosely sealed when I got it. 🤬

Good fit, took a little bit of sanding to get the right depth but other than that fits well. Sound/tuning wise, I didn't notice anything. Black looks good. String trees are good. Used them on a black Squire telecaster deluxe.

These are great improvements to most Stratocasters in our quest for tuning stability. This and the bridge are the most important elements to that end.

These can be difficult to source outside the US at a reasonable price and the pricing (with delivery) from Amazon.jp was spot-on. Delivered within about a week, these as headed to a custom build in the near future!
