SINGER 8.5" Fabric Scissors, Comfort Grip, Red & White, Dressmaker Shears

These scissors are wonderful. I am an avid sewer and first purchased these scissors 4 years ago. I use them every day and they are still just as sharp as when I bought them. I wanted to purchase a second pair so I wouldn’t have to search for them as often when I’m moving between the cutting table and my machine. I couldn’t be happier with the quality, comfort, sharpness, or price. Over time the other ones have yellowed just a bit, but otherwise they are still good as new.

This is a good scissor, cuts the fabric well, they are lightweight and comfortable to use. They are perfect for cutting around appliqués that I use in some of my sewing projects. Best of all they are reasonably priced.

Perfect for crafts

I love Singer scissors. I always use them for my sewing and craft scissors. The blades are straight and sharp. The handle is soft and stable. The lines are crisp and they handle pretty much any type of fabric really well. Singer scissors are the best for your money, in my opinion.

I would say it can probably cut t-shirts really easily. Those type of thin material can have precise cuts, which was great! However, when I was trying to cut my sweatpants it took a lot of strength and it kind of chewed it apart. It left a lot of bits of fabric and a mess in general. But, I would mainly use this for my t-shirts so yeah!
