Very nice. I would recommend!
Very nice! I am using it to hold a goPro and light tray to my BCD while scuba diving and it is perfect for this function. It is strong and when un-snapped underwater you have 3 feet of movement. When getting on/off the boat you snap it and it hangs close to your body/bcd.

Awesome for diving, great value
Took two of these diving in Cocos Island, strong currents often and never had a worry about my SeaLife phone enclosure or my DJI action cam on a stick. Super sturdy, perfect amount of recoil on the coiled tether. Some other have complained that both sides don't have clips; I think this is for the best, actually. The cinch side is stronger, more durable, and will show damage easier than the clip side, which is better for simple convenience of clipping/unclipping often. It's easy to unclip/detach the camera and hand it to someone on the boat when getting out of the water; alternatively, if the water is rough, you can unclip just the coil section and hand it to them while still attached to you; a little more awkward but very doable.

This thing was amazing for holding my Gopro for my last diving trip ...
This thing was amazing for holding my Gopro for my last diving trip to the Galapagos Islands. Heavy currents there were no issue. Clipped it stays nice and close but you have full range of motion unclipped and no chance of losing your expensive camera either way. All three clips felt secure and the main clip worked great with gloves on Depending on your setup and where its clipped you might be able to use the camera without unclipping it the majority of the time

that length is nice if you want to hook something to a BCD ...
Works well. The device was a bit larger than I expected; however, that length is nice if you want to hook something to a BCD D-ring and then store the other end in a BCD pocket.

Works perfectly for my photo/video setup
I use this for my diving photo/video setup. Works perfectly for what I wanted. Looks and feels solid. I think it'll last for quite awhile.

One of the most convenient of its kind
This is a great clip for multiple diving uses. I have used it for my GoPro camera and my metal rod. It holds the attached unit close and reachable until needed. The quick release allows for quite a substantial amount of movement and an easy reattachment to the BCD when completed.

36" Quick Release Coiled Lanyard W/ Brass Clip & SS Split Ring
Haven't used it yet but it is made at least as well as the other one I bought in a different brand. Good price and multiple options for mounting to you dive gear item. I will be using this either for my underwater writing tablet or my dive computer console. I recommend this item if you need to clip something to your BCD that you want to be tight to you but able to be pulled away to examine the item. My old eyes don't adjust like they used to and bringing my readers down on a dive is not an option. I don't drag my computer console on the bottom when I have hooked up to one of these lanyards.
