Tempur-Pedic Seat Cushion, Medium , Dark Navy Blue

I am a roadrunner through and through. Originally from TX, now living in ND, I make the 1,300 mile (one way) trip back 3 times a year minimum. In addition, we take two annual vacations, always by car as my husband is not fond of planes. When I became pregnant, car seats were suddenly UNBEARABLE. Even a trip to the store would leave my lower back and hips aching for hours. My problem-solving husband immediately purchased this highly rated cushion to try and alleviate my discomfort, as we had several major road trips lined up, none of them avoidable. From the moment I started using this cushion I never had an ache again. It’s extremely thick and sturdy, highly shock absorbent, and contorted perfectly. It has yet to lose the slightest bit of shape after 100+ hours of use between the both of us. The price seemed high before purchase, I didn’t understand what would make a seat cushion worth so much. After using it I can’t imagine ever needing to purchase another, it has yet to age in the slightest, so I consider it to be a valuable lifetime investment. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a seat cushion that will end your aches and never need replacement, look no further!

Tried 3 different ones before finally dropping the money on this. Excellent product. Had a Target branded one and a Walmart branded one that absolutely did not hold up. Used all for my vehicle which has terrible ride. The Tempurpedic did the trick, and the car is now tolerable. The cover is a nylon type elastic removable. I guess you could wash it if you wanted it. Like all memory foam, it is rock hard when it is cold so it takes a few blocks to become comfortable on cold days. You will literally bounce off the seat the first few blocks. For long trips, excellent support. The price fluctuates tremendously on this. Be patient, you can purchase it for less than then 3 figures, Amazon.com just loves to rip-off people with its price fluctuations.

I’m really disappointed that this cushion didn’t work for me. I’ve got several Tempurpedic products that I love, but this cushion doesn’t fit the bill. The cushion is too small and I’m a small person (5’6” and 118 pounds). It’s so tall and firm that I feel like a toddler on a booster seat. Also, it doesn’t fit with my lumbar support pillow. Oh well, back to drawing board.

Wow! Amazing support! I’m disabled and need a pillow to sit on. I bring it everywhere. It’s like bringing my Tempurpedic mattress to restaurants! One suggestion though…there is no carry handle. I had to improvise and make my own handle, so I can attach it to my walker to carry!

Back cushion easily falls through if not supported at the bottom on my padded chair with arm rests. I will probably try a one piece solution for back and cushion to compensate on my next purchase.

This cushion provides medium support (or med-firm) for about the first 15 to 30 minutes you're sitting on it. Then, like all these garbage memory foam cushions, it gradually bottoms out, compressing down to cardboard equivalent, and inviting all your back pain to move right back in. I think Memory Foam might be the biggest fraud of the last 20 years. It might work for mattresses -- idk, all foam mattresses kill my back. But it is utterly worthless for seating cushions.

I was worried it would be too firm after reading these reviews. I kept the plastic it to try it out for a day. Got tired of sliding on the plastic and decided to commit. It took a few days to get used to it. At one point my pain came back and I got frustrated. I took the cushion off and when I sat back down I felt like I was sitting on a wood chair and pain was significant worse. I realized my expectation that it would 100% resolve sitting pain was unrealistic. The pain reduction was worth it. I couldn’t put that cushion back fast enough. I find it to be the right amount of firmness for me. I just find it strange they label it as Medium size but don’t offer any other sizes. It’s not as wide as I’d like it to be, but it’s sufficient. (6 ft, 210lb)

Sorry to give this product only two stars but I found that there were two major problems with it. Unless you have a very skinny but this is going to be quite small. It's very narrow. It is also quite firm cell you can feel the edges of the cushion right at the point of the gluteal tendons and if you have an injury that is painful. Would not recommend this for anyone with piriformis injuries because it is very firm.

This cushion is a bit thicker than I initially expected, but that also means it provides ample cushioning for long periods of sitting down. Product is certified made in the USA. Cushion cover is removable and can be washed. For those considering a purchase, do make sure your chairs have adjustable seat heights, because the cushion will add about 2 inches to the seat height.

El asiento es muy práctico porque lo puedes poner donde lo requieras, en el carro, silla de ruedas, o en alguna otra silla o banca, es cómodo y aparte de que el forro se quita y se puede lavar perfectamente.

Het kussen is oke maar had iets groter mogen zijn. Ik heb het gekocht voor mijn tante om in een relax zetel te leggen. Mijn tante is niet breed, weegt maar 58 kg en het kussen is maar nipt zo breed als haar heupen.

a bit firm and would have liked it a bit bigger/wider - will need to test out over time to see results.

I am 6 feet tall weighing 190 pounds (86 kilograms). The pad is not long enough and most definitely not wide enough to allow a comfortable seating.
