I use after shaving and it lowers the burn from shaving. Regular use seems to keep acne from developing but one there I have to use an acne wash. Update I admit I haven't used every day but I feel I could. I mostly use after I shave w my electric shaver. If I use this after it eliminated the burn associated w electric shaving. I feels like there might be some mosturizers in there as it doesn't seem to dry out my skin. Ever get that dry feeling w acne washes. Another advantage is it is easily rinsed off. My acne cleared up as well after using although that was only occasionally and not severe.
