Can this be used to polish silver coated dishes?

If you mean silver plated items, yes. Test run a little to be 100% sure. Bear in mind that with silver coated items, the silvering wears away over time. There used to be a product called silver solution that restored silverplate but Im not sure whether its still available.

Is this for dipping the jewellery in?

No. Put a little of the liquid onto a dry cloth and rub the silver item. Then rinse the item with clean water. There is a product called sliver dip that you dip jewellery in.

Can this be used on epns ?

I dont have any epns items ..I imagine Goddards Silver polish could've successfully used
