Review: Great buy for the money - The bb preamp has been a great asset to go to. In my opinion it does not change the tone of my amp sound enough to frustrate me. I have gone through several overdrive pedals looking for a tonel fit for my sound and this fits the bill when looking for a mild to medium gain structure in playing classic rock tunes for gigs. I use an OCD overdrive to give me the higher gain I want for lead playing as well. Buy it Sully

The bb preamp has been a great asset to go to. In my opinion it does not change the tone of my amp sound enough to frustrate me. I have gone through several overdrive pedals looking for a tonel fit for my sound and this fits the bill when looking for a mild to medium gain structure in playing classic rock tunes for gigs. I’ve used the usual suspects of boost pedals OCD, SD-1, ts9- od808, etc… Each have pros and cons, some match better with specific amps, but the BB preamp seems to have a more neutral frequency response and seems to work well with any amp I’ve used it with. Great pedal overall.
