A: They are lying that’s how. 1800 watts is the maximum you can get from a 15amp 120v outlet. Don’t know why Amazon allows verifiable false advertising.

This item is getting 1 star because I believe it’s another returned item. This is my third order. My first one was discounted because it was 100 percent a return. One I ordered yesterday was mangled and did not heat properly. When this one came again the box was tore up and I could tell it was not new.. this is a great high pressure dryer than doesn’t get overly hot and I have long hair. I do not recommend the vendor . If I get a discount I will change my rating
