Zoo Med Habba Hut, Small

The product arrived exactly as described, the small is equivalent to the “hermit crab” size you would find at a pet store. It’s a bit small for most reptiles, as I purchased for a hatchling tortoise and it is too shallow/ low. My tarantula should love it though.

I purchased 3 of these for my mice. Previously I had larger ones that were store bought and didn't pay close enough attention here to the size. These are TINY. I can't imagine many pets that would be able to fit under them; my adult female mouse can not as shown in the picture. I'm not docking stars for the size as that was my own mistake and the larger versions of these are excellent, but keep in mind if you have any pet that will be getting larger than a hatchling bearded dragon that you should just go with a larger one and save some money.For now these still provide my mice with something to chew and store food under but next time I'm ordering the correct size!

This is a good size for smaller critters. My Trantula seems to love it. She is usually in there.

This grew mold after about 1 week. I hadn't realized this until it was visibly green all in and around the interior wood, so the mold probably started growing as soon as I placed it, or I possibly I purchased it with mold already on it . I do suggest some type of hut for your hermit crab though, one of mine planted himself inside and just about never left it.I purchased this one because the design is not distinctively beach, and I don't have a beach themed crabitat. I'll just have to keep looking or make my own.

This hut is smaller than I was expecting, too small for my hermit crabs, they don't seem to like it or use it, maybe if it were larger.

Very disappointed. Product litteraly fits in the palm of my hand. The one that looks more like the picture is what I was EXPECTING—a small bark hide I got from petco a little while ago. They were sold out of that perfect small size but I thought I found it on Amazon, but this is NOT IT!!

I could see this being small for any hampster or lizard but it's just the perfect size for my bdf beetles. The only issue I ran into was removing the staples which was pretty hard and I kinda injured myself a bit doing so. It's a great addition to any small creature's enclosure. I could see any smaller inverts enjoying this.

This hut is exactly what I was hoping it would be! I am surprised by how small it is, but it is the perfect size for my itty bitty hermies. The wood is good quality and I think the product is great for the price. The only downside is that the plastic packaging is stapled into the wood, and I sliced my finger open trying to remove the staple.
