Strong durable case that will protect your switch.
This case is for people who want to transport their Switch hardware safely, including not just the system but also all its peripherals. There is space in the case for items that a smaller case wouldn't be able to fit--including a pro controller, a dock (aka the toaster unit), and more. This means the case is quite large, which could be impractical if you are only wanting to transport the core hardware, so this is really for people who want to carry all the items. It's bigger than a lunchbox but smaller than a briefcase. One benefit of being so large is that in addition to being able to store peripherals like a pro controller, it also has more space for small items. 21 snug little game case holders (you could also store similarly sized items in them like sd cards) and a zippable area under the top of the case where I could see myself storing papers, pencils, or other items that could be convenient to store with the switch case. Up to now when I travel with my switch, I have used a smaller case which only fits the system and some joy-cons, and I would bring the cables and dock and pro controller in a separate bag. For me I still think there is value in those smaller cases for smaller trips, but for longer trips that require more security or more peripherals like your pro controller, this one is probably more applicable. Being able to lock it gives me more peace of mind that people won't be able to snoop through it (it's also good it doesn't have any branding that suggests there is an expensive gaming system + games inside). The case is very sturdy and durable, I get the feeling that I could throw it across the room and it would still protect its innards (but I'm not gonna try it lol). I also think it could do a good job protecting your switch from a large item leaning against or lying on the case. I do wish the inner cushion were one chunk instead of three layers glued together but I guess it doesn't matter. The case itself feels premium to me. The handle is firmly attached, and it comes with an adjustable-length sash so you can hang it over your shoulder and don't need to hold it in your hand. If I ever lost my switch or got rid of it, I would be happy to remove the styrofoam and use the case to protect other items. I also appreciate that it comes with a screen protector. I already have a screen protector on my switch but I passed it on to my brother for his one. I would recommend this case to anybody who is looking for a comprehensive case for all their switch hardware, so they don't have to worry about carrying cords and a dock separately. The fact that the case is unmarked and can lock is also a nice bonus.

Great Case for the Right Price
This is a very sturdy case for the perfect price. I would also like to add the design is amazing, having all of the slots for the things you need; controllers, cables, dock, accessories, etc. There is room for 4 Joy-Cons (2 on Switch itself and 2 on the Joy-Con controller) and a pro controller. You can also put in other accessories instead of putting the dock and cables in their respective compartments. This case is also great for travel. There is nowhere in the case that indicates that there is a Switch inside. The build is SUPER sturdy and durable making its lock have a use because of how hard to break into this thing is. The lock is a really nice touch so people like family members or thieves can't break into it. There are way more game card slots than I was expecting which is an awesome touch because most cases don't have a lot, even the are bigger ones. The one thing I don't like about this case though is that the dock and a couple of other things stick out. It worries me that it COULD damage my game cartridges. (!THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED THIS IS JUST A WORRY!) Overall this case is great for the price and is very well-built. Traveling with this case is a dream, I never thought I would find a great case for the right price and fits all your switch needs (controllers, cables, dock, accessories, etc.) This case very much deserves a 5/5 star review for its amazing build, design, and travel readiness.

V2 edit
This is an updated v2 review of this case. The new version features a couple of key differences. In general the new version is a more premium update. The zipper which was not problematic in the first case is much better. It opens and closes easy and is very sturdy. The locking mechanism is very similar to the first version. The dimensions have changed. This case is a little more longer but less width and height. It’s more rectangular, streamlined and I feel easier to carry and store. The foam insert is also more premium. It has a more polished feel and is very sturdy. Your components are not going anywhere. The cutouts are also placed that both the pro controller and joy con analogue sticks won’t be pressed while inside. There is a nice convenient top compartment to store cables and games. This does touch the top of the dock and switch but shouldn’t be a problem. Overall this case is a really good way to pack and travel your expensive components and gives you a lot of flexibility as to what it can store. Below is the original review of the first version: This case is very solid. If you are looking for a case to fit the switch, dock, pro controller, cables and games you have come to the right place. The outside of the case is sleek black. The double zipper is high quality. The locking mechanism is tsa approved and you can set your own 3 digit code. The mechanism is sturdy and a nice feature to have if you want to leave your switch in a hotel room for example. The inside of the case is where if shines. While there is a solid game cartridge area and a zipper pocket the beauty of this case is the inside foam. This case is designed to fit first party items. Meaning if you have a third party pro controller the analogue sticks may be pressed when fitting into the case. That being said since it fits so tightly the peripheral will not move around. The foam is very high quality. It is easy to place your items in an out of the case without damage the items or the foam. All in all I would give this a 5 star rating because for the price it is the best way to safely transport the switch and dock along with peripherals. The locking feature is a huge plus.

Just What I Needed for the Price but Could be Better
I'd really like to give this 3.5 stars if possible. 3 stars feels a bit too harsh and 4 stars feels a bit too generous. Overall, it's a good case and does what I need it too. However, there are a few minor annoyances that prevent me from giving it full marks. My Situation: I'm presently alternating between two locations due to work. Having a case for the Switch that has a place for everything is essential. Conveniently, this case holds everything I need and nothing I don't. Pros: 1. The case is sturdy. I'm certain it can take a lot of abuse before falling apart. However, the foam inside may be a bit too sturdy (see below). 2. It holds exactly everything I need to carry and nothing else: Switch, dock, HDMI, charger, pro controller, joy-con ends, joy-con grip, and games. 3. The lock seems gimmicky, but I'll give a shot next time I fly. 4. Shoulder strap is a nice option. Cons: 1. Foam Part 1: As another reviewer pointed out, the foam inside is made from glueing several layers together. In some places, that glue squished out, leaving a hard point of contact for the Switch that could be abrasive. Fortunately, you can rub off the excess glue fairly easily. Just be sure to watch out for it. 2. Foam Part 2: The foam inside is very dense and I would even argue that it's too dense. In addition to having to really force some items into the slots (see below), the foam is so dense that I worry it's not actually absorbing much shock if dropped. I wouldn't put this case through checked baggage without wrapping the case in a layer of clothing inside a suitcase. 3. Fit: Due to the density of the foam, the fit is snug. Unfortunately, the hole for the joy-con grip doesn't seem to be the right size for my grip and I have to really push to get it in there. The other issue, and this is my biggest gripe with the case, is that my pro-controller absolutely does not fit without removing the thumbstick caps. This means I have to remove them every time I want to stow it, put them somewhere else in the case, and remember where they are. If the foam were softer, this wouldn't be an issue. 4. (just a nitpick, this doesn't affect the rating) While the red accent zipper is cool, I'd enjoy some other color choices.

Excellent travel case and storage for Nintendo Switch and accessories
When I originally purchased this case, I was looking for a case that would provide decent protection as well as allow me to transport various accessories for my switch. I am a college student that dorms and this case provides security and protection, both when transporting and as a storage device. Prior to this purchase, I was transporting my Switch in a small case and keeping accessories in a small cloth bag. This case is an excellent upgrade. The TSA lock that is included is easy to set and secure. The zipper mesh bag behind the top, provides a great place for storage of wires and small accessories. There are some cons that result from the design of the Pros: + Foam padding provides snug fit for all official Nintendo accessories that is easy to insert and remove + Excellent amount of storage space with extra space for smaller 3rd party accessories + Can hold up to 21 game cartridges + TSA lock included in design + Comes with a comfortable and easy to adjustable shoulder strap + Provides great protection when using to transport + Sleek black design that does not advertise that you are carrying a Nintendo Switch Cons: - Foam padding is three pieces of layered foam glued together, which does not the smoothest finish, but does the job - Design for the Nintendo Switch slot can result in fingerprints while attempting to remove from slot - Design of the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller slot can push on the right joystick when inserted, but is easily corrected - Switch game cartridge storage covers the entirety of cartridge, making it slightly harder find your game of interest Overall, I highly recommend this case. You won't find a better case at its price point that provides the same level of security and protection.

Nice travel case, might buy another for my second Switch
TLDR: The case is really solid, looks nice, does its job, and would recommend it. Pros: - The foam is cut perfectly and I didnt have manipulate any compartments when placing things in them like another use said they had an issue with. I posted a video of my pushing the switch down easily with one finger. - Hard top shell with a little room between it and and the tops of the switch components so if you were to drop hard enough to dent it, you still have that little bit a leeway before it gets to the parts. - The foam is very sturdy. My only future concern would be with the piece between the power adapter and dock compartment. Seems a little flimsy without anything in them but should hold up fine under normal use. - plenty of room to hold games - TSA lock is a nice feature too. Just dont do what I did and play around with, lock the zippers into it, and then turn the knobs without realizing you dont know the code to open it up.... luckily it was set to 0-0-0. Cons: Honestly, I think my only bad think so say is that in order to see which games are which, you have to leave them pulled out a little bit (will add a pic) but even then it seems to hold them and I can see the art on the cartridge. Neutral - carrying strap is basic but it's not bad, not great. It just does what it needs to do.

Solid Case
So I decided to buy another one of these as there are 2 Switches in the house now. It seems they updated the design! >Less bulky overall >Can fit more variety of controllers >Does have less cartridge holders and accessory space Overall interesting change and I appreciate being able to pack 3 controllers with me! Review for the old version below: Decided to buy this case because I'm traveling soon. Overall, I quite like the design! I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the entire package. Starting from the outside: >Color-wise, it's plain, which I think is a good thing when it comes to travel. >The materials used for the outer case are sturdy and feel like the price you pay. This includes the strap, which feels abnormally premium (like a really nice seatbelt), but the same couldn't be said about shoulder pad. I think it should be better padded, but it gets the job done. The weight of the case fully loaded isn't particularly heavy, but I could imagine it getting irritating over time. >The hand grip is also surprisingly premium feeling, and is quite grippy. I think the looks kind of detract from the overall package, but it really does feel better than it looks. >TSA lock is a nice touch. It functions much the same as any decent TSA lock so I can't argue with it. Now for the Inside: >Inside pocket feels padded, which is good. Inner zipper handle is also made of a harder rubber, which should prevent scratches. It's not super deep, though, so it's only really good for cables and other small accessories. >21 cartridge holder!!! Really awesome, since I go physical for most of my Switch titles! It doubles as padding and a divider to separate and protect what's below it. And for the main attraction: Foam! >The foam quality could be better; it's not the best but it does get the job done. It bends a bit at the thinner parts, but doesn't have much give on the thicker areas. >Cutouts are very clean and precise. The Switch, dock, and controller cutouts will fit everything tightly. You get a bit more play with the switch dock, but not a whole lot. It can fit an HDMI cable in there, but that might be better off in the zipper pocket. >Cutouts are also only cut with 1st party controllers in mind. The wired Hori controller and wireless Power A controller wouldn't fit at all. However, the wired Power A controller could just barely fit without the thumbsticks attached. >Either orientation will work when putting controllers in. I prefer them faced down. >The Default configuration is solid and will hold everything shown in the product page pretty snuggly. My go-to configuration, however, allows me to fit a second set of Joycons + grip. It helps to have a travel dock which fits far better than the standard dock, and can even accompany the charger in the same slot. >Foam is easily removable, meaning you can put your own foam cutouts in, or just remove it and use it for something else. Overall, it's a very solid case and I'm quite content with the purchase!

Great Solid Case.
When i first opened my package, my first thought was that the case looked extremely sleek. After fitting everything in, i can say that i truly feel like this will protect my switch setup. PROS: Can carry my entire setup very tight fit so nothing will jostle around has a lock for the zippers, so my little cousins wont be able to get into it holds all the games you'll ever need the area for the joy-con grip attachment has the space for actual joy-cons to be in there too, so you can carry 4 joy-cons total. Has even more space so i can fit extra cords, and even my power-bank. CONS: zippers are extremely thin, so it'll only prevent spur of the moment theft. If you don't have The NINTENDO pro remote, It will not fit. (say you have powerA or other brand, they are too thick so the analog sticks will only fit forced to be squished a direction, which ruins the remote) I know this isn't too big of a deal, but it would be nice if they could put like a clear-backing to the game case area, because having to go through 20 different pockets before you find your game is annoying. But, that should not be a reason to not buy this case. It is a very good case, and I'm amazed at the quality. You truly get what you're paying for.
