Book is new and very helpful. Trying to learn the basics on my own. Before i get to transfer to Cal State. But was disappointed because I bought a new book ( instead of use) . Under the impression that the connect code would come with the book. It did not.

Terrible to read on Kindle
I rented this texbook (which is mostly blocks of text, ugh) to read on Kindle and what a major headache. It is really hard to format this textbook on Kindle, and it absolutely does not lend itself to the medium. I had no idea there were any diagrams until my classmate showed me his textbook! I wished there wasn't such a short window on the return, because I now have to purchase the book so I can make sense of it.

Required Book for a Graduate Class
I bought the book through Amazon since it was much less than purchasing the book through the bookstore (I could have had purchased a lower-priced on-line version from the campus bookstore but I prefer a physical copy and make my own notes.) It was just over $50 so the price here was very good. Overall, this book is good but it really focuses on operations management instead of, IMO, logistics management. But I have been through about half of it and so far satisfied with it.
