I use this for an easy peppercorn sauce for steaks. Tablespoon with some heavy cream and course ground pepper. Very nice.

I recently tried the Lee Kum Kee Black Pepper Sauce with high expectations, as I've generally enjoyed other products from this well-established brand. Unfortunately, this particular sauce fell short of what I was hoping for. The most disappointing aspect is the black pepper flavor itself - both the aroma and taste lack the robust intensity you'd expect from a dedicated pepper sauce. When using it in stir-fries and as a marinade, I found myself needing to add additional fresh ground pepper to achieve the desired depth of flavor. The pepper notes come across as muted and somewhat flat, missing that characteristic sharpness and complexity that makes black pepper so appealing. Compared to other Lee Kum Kee sauces I've used in the past, this one seems notably less impressive in terms of flavor concentration. Their oyster sauce and hoisin products deliver much more pronounced and authentic tastes, making this pepper sauce feel like an outlier in their otherwise reliable lineup. The price point adds to the disappointment, as it commands a premium compared to similar cooking sauces without delivering premium results. Given the cost, I expected a more potent, restaurant-quality product that could transform simple dishes with just a small amount. While it's not entirely without merit as a basic cooking sauce, I would recommend exploring other black pepper sauce options that offer more bang for your buck and a more satisfying pepper kick

It was great for the price I bought and was great for all my meals. The flavor is delicious, and I mostly use it for when I cook chicken or pork. It is versatile for any dish you choose to cook at home, and it is not too peppery or spicy but just perfect!

I love this pepper sauce had trouble finding it locally. The lid says reject if safety button is up. And it was. So I threw it out, ughh I love this stuff

There is a great recipe for beef with black pepper sauce in various Chinese/Hong Kong cookbooks that requires this. Its spicy, peppery and hits the spot just right in these recipes.

Authentic, sauce by Lee kum kee. If you really want to taste authentic flavor of sauces, go for lee kum kee. Amazon always provide products at reasonable price.

very tasty and great for saute and pepper chicken . Lightly spiced and peppery. no sweet taste which is great.
