This is my first dash cam and I find it adequate for its purpose. Picture quality is good, it's inexpensive, and does the job.Pros:PricePicture qualitySecondary rear cam optionCons:Takes up a whole 12v receptacle.Tips:I thought "I'll just get a multi port 12v USB charger and power this bad boy off of it and still be able to charge my phone, Juul, etc.."Well, tap the brakes there McGuyver and realize that it must get power to the rear cam over a pin on its stock power cord that you won't get over a usb cable. If you're not using the rear cam, then no worries, your good to go with the usb charger. Also, take care putting in the memory card as my first attempt went into the slot, completely missed the dock for it and it just fell into the camera case which meant I was peeling that "void if removed" sticker to get at the screws to disassemble the case and retrieve the card from inside, that was wicked fun. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dash and Backup Camera combo *by B***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2019* The media could not be loaded.  I have been looking for a simple dash cam for the car as we live in a high accident prone area and the car is older and lacks a backup camera. This camera had a few things i was looking for. Mainly 1080p, auto on/off, easy setup, backup camera option. The setup is pretty simple it only has two ports, one mini HDMI for the backup cam which is optional, mini-USB power. The suction cup is very strong and we originally attached it to the windshield but my wife liked it better on the dash (which is why the original video was upside down). We tried it out for a few errands and liked that it didn't have any issues recording to the 32Gb SD card (card not included) and playback was smooth. Video was 1080p and clear when viewed in on the camera and on our phones. The camera has a internal battery which was a nice surprise since you need to run usb power to it or use the included AC adapter (we used our own USB cable to power it as it was longer). i didn't hook up the backup cam as i need to run the cables but we tested it plugged in and it worked fine. The connection for the rear camera require an electrical connector that is not included. And, you need to know a little about automotive wiring in order to make a good connection. Good instructions for that are not included. And, the little mounting bracket that is included for the rear camera is designed more for inside the rear window, not at the license plate as indicated by the illustrations.
