Songwriter's Journal (Diary, Notebook)

This was a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it. You can see the quality of this journal on every single page. The cover is very thick and rich in details, the pages are thick, nice material. It is not your typical journal or notebook with just blank pages. Inside you’ll find a little Intro to best use this Journal, Inspiration Pages, some Tips. And in the pages to write songs you’ll find an area were you can put the date, a Song Title, Tempo/Feel. For the Lyrics, there’s an area for the Verse, Chorus and Bridge, and on the next page you’ll find the Music Sheet, a designated area for the verse, chorus and bridge. On the bottom you can add the guitar chords you used (the position of your fingers). In total you can have about 70 songs on this journal (2 pages per song). 160 pages in total. It comes with a little pocket on the back of the journal. Overall it’s a very nice item to fully commit to write songs. It helps you create structure. Very happy with this purchase.

I love the size, feel, and look of this journal. It's perfect for toting around because it's not too big or bulky, and it slides easily into a backpack or a large purse. The graphics are great, and the opposite pages allow for writing out both lyrics on one side and music notes on the other. There's a space for the date of creation and song title as well as the tempo and feel of the song. The lyric pages even section out the different parts of a song. There is an attached elastic band to wrap over the cover so the book doesn't open up when you don't want it to. The book includes an introduction to songwriting, and adding your songs to this book makes them look like works of art! Fun purchase.

Purchased for a friend who recently started writing her own songs. She loves it because she can add notes to use later and she follows the prompts to that inspire her to keep writing. I would recommend this product. It contains lots of prompts to get started and plenty of run to write your own songs.

Fantastic gift for songwriters!

I don’t write songs but this one makes me want write one . It’s a cool book. I bought it for my daughter and her friend. They are both musicians. I’m happy with it.

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift. Over six months later, he's still carrying it around with him, jotting notes, writing lyrics, etc. That's a win!
