First Of All I Would Like To Talk About The Game Itself, The Game Is Very Entertaining And There Have Been Plenty Of Upgrades Since The Last Sims Including Graphics, Things To Strive For, Things To Do, CARS And GARAGES, Traits And The Game Itself Has Became Less Of A Repeated Chore, Pets Helps Also, You Can Add A Wide Variety Of Pets, Even Capture Unique Rare Pets And Raise Them As Your Own, I'm Sure There Are Plenty More Reviews Out There If You Want To Know More, Onward To The Flaws, The First Glaring Flaw That Smacked Me In The Face As Soon As I Tried To Install, Is The Sims 3 Base Game Code Provided Does Not Work, Although There Was A Few Provided From Another Reviewer That Got Me Past The First Hurdle, Also Upon Installing The Disc Must Be In Your Primary DVD-ROM Drive, Most PCs Only Have One, But If You Do Have Two, Know That You Will Get A Million Read Errors If You Try Installing The Game From Your Secondary. Now The Big Pain In My Arse, After And Even During Installing You Will Notice A Program Called "Origin" Trying To Install, After Reading Some On EA Site, This Is A Game Update Engine, After All Don't Everybody Want Glitches And Hang Ups Fixed? I Thought Yes, What A GIGANTIC MISTAKE THAT WAS, Now My Game Is Filled With Items That Automatically Push To The Front And Require A Micro Transaction To Purchase From Some EA Online Store. Now I Am Going To Uninstall Sims 3 And Origin And Start Over And Neglect My Updates Because Of EA's Need To Profit Even Further Off Of Me, Isn't It Bad Enough We Strive For 10 Different Expansion Packs And 10 Different Stuff Packs, Please EA Grow A Brain And Have A Heart.

I read some of the other reviews before ordering and installing this game. Some have had difficulty registering and installing the game, so I did some pre-install research. I found a post titled "ATTN: Reg. code for The Sims 3 Plus Pets" and another titled "How to redeem Limited Edition content for The Sims 3 Pets Expansion Pack" at The Sims 3 Community page for October 2011. I followed the instructions for registering and getting the Expansion Pack to the letter and had no problems. I did not need to call or contact customer support.I'm very new to the Sims game, is this the first one I have ever bought or played. So far it's great fun and I've even figured out how to adopt my first pet!Edit: I was able to get the Limited Edition Pet Store to show up within my Sims 3 plus Pets game. I must admit it took a couple times downloading it, installing it, then uninstalling it, deleting the download and trying the process over again. When the Pet Shop finally showed up in the Options Menu > Edit Town I was able to add the Pet Store to a Lot near my Sim's home.

Last time I played Sims 3 was 2012. After installing DirectX 9 I have the base game playing! YES, so happy. Then came the shadow monster EA Games, "I would like to inform you that this is an ongoing known issue," Ongoing for YEARS. Loading a pack from a disc. Yes, can SEE it but packs do not 'merge' with the base game. Buy directly from EA? Yes, I can see the purchase but game is not in my Library and will not download.If you are happy ONLY playing the base game WITH NO expansion packs. Can do. Me? I'll never buy an EA game. Returning the packs.This is NOT A Win 11 or a Mac issue! It is 100% EA. If you search online if Sims 3 will play on Win 11, answer yes. I checked. Reality is ONLY the base Sims 3 will play <sigh> Don't be scammed. Avoid EA games.

When you try to install the game you are prompted to enter a serial code that is included with the instruction booklet. Upon doing so, it told me that the serial code was invalid and would not allow me to continue with the installation. On my first attempt to contact customer service, I was disconnected after waiting on hold for over 45 minutes. My second attempt to get help with this issues also resulted in failure, I was on hold for almost 3 hours and the battery in my phone died before I was connected to a customer service rep. I've read many posts on various websites from people who have experienced the same problem. Even if you do manage to get the game installed, which seems to be quite the accomplishment, there are many glitches that drastically affect game play. The Sims is a great series, but until they get some of these issues sorted out I can't recommend that anyone purchase this title. Paying customers deserve a little bit better than this. I'm very disappointed because I was really looking forward to this game. :(Update: After several failed attempts to get the issue resolved with EA customer support, I had almost given up and written this purchase off as a loss. I decided however, to try them just once more and was very pleasantly surprised at the results. On my final attempt to contact EA games, I was almost instantly connected to a customer service rep who helped me resolve the issue within minutes over the phone, and was even given a code for a discount towards my next EA purchase. Although I was very frustrated at first, EA did a good job in the end and has restored my faith in the company. The game itself is running fine on my computer and I haven't experienced any bugs or problems with it. In fact, I recently purchased the "Ambitions" expansion and had no issues with the installation of that game either.

It did came next day , whole parcel was well packed and secured as it should be , seasons were nice in the foil , pets not so I checked the CD and it was no scratches or anything , i'm playing now and it works perfectly so I'm happy with my purchase .

Like- horsesDislike- code didn’t work, had to use one off the internet. (Sealed also) so sketchy.Also game crashes a lot. Save frequently.Didn’t work with my 2017 Mac.Otherwise works with an older model.

Not happy very poor condition on both discs scratches all over the disc...

Kids love it!! To bad it takes up so much memory space on my pc
